CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT TILING AND JOINERY AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT PHASE II ZONE A UNDER GE I R AND D EAST BANGALORE

Dismantling / demolition of existing roof treatment including padding on roof, terrazzo flooring manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material exceeding 1.5 KM but n.exc 5 KM complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- Rate quoted by the contractor includes up to G+5 stories bldg.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4), type B0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate in roof padding concrete for levelling etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- Rate quoted by the contractor includes up to G+5 stories bldg.

Surface cleaning by use of wire brush, water jet and grinding etc., to remove all loose dust, fungus oil, grease etc., including all the existing membrane, primer and other foreign particles removed by grinding and other mechanical means completely to reach base slab complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting V shaped groove over the cracks and filling the same with Dr Fixit PU sealant and Pidi Prime A, for deeper cracks suitable backer rod shall be provided complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick cement screed over roof concrete surface in CM (1:3) and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for priming by providing one coat of Dr. Fixit Primeseal diluted with clear water at a ratio of 2:1 and allowing it to dry at minimum of 6 hours (Dr Fixit Roof seal Ultra plus for Terrace) complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and applying 2-3 coats of Dr. Fixit Roof seal Ultra Plus one component water based, cold applied nontoxic VOC complaint high solid content by weight - not less than 60%, UV Resistant hybrid Polyurethane membrane with 300% elongation, as per ASTM D 412, for long-lasting waterproofing, having Adhesion to substrate as per ASTM D 3359 of ≥ 3.5 N/Sqmm, Water vapour permeability as per ASTM D 1653 of ≥ 25 g/sq.m 24 hrs, with Tensile strength as per ASTM D 412 (@ 50 mm/ min) of ≥ 2 N/mm2, having Shore A hardness as per ASTM 2240 of 70 to 75 and with Crack bridging ability as per AS/NZD 4548.5 : 1999 of Excellent-able to bridge cracks upto 2 mm” by brush or roller to achieve a total DFT of 1 mm, with coverage of approximately 0.6litre/Sqm/Coat with a time interval of 4 hour to 6 hour between each coat up to 300 FFL. Material application shall be done at a consumption rate of 1.3-1.4 Kg/Sqm in 2-3 coats and a glass fiber mesh shall be sandwiched between 1st and 2nd coat of hydro shield PUD plus and third coat shall only be required to hide the mesh and get the specified coverage rate including a layer of geotextile grid of minimum 40 GSM and with in between two PU layers

as per manufacture specification be provided. Application shall be done for a height of 300mm over parapet and other vertical upstands and overcoated with Dr. Fixit Raincoat Select System complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix GI Hexagonal wire netting of thickness 0.88 mm of size 25 x 25mm to be laid on concrete surface on roof fixed with nails / screws including all laps, cutting and waste complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only integral water proofing compound of approved make all as directed.
