Taking down carefully unserviceable copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete including fixture and fitting such as switches, ceiling rose lamp holder, regulators, sockets, light fittings, wooden terminal boxes, plastic laminated sheet cover, including taking down of DB’s, meter board any type, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down fluorescent tube light single/double/Bulk Head light of any wattage or size fitting for repair or replacement of burnt/worn out accessories or carrying to MES store(Accessories or components to be provided free for replacment by department), complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unserviceable DB's box including MCB's of any size/rating, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for point wiring with single core PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 volts grade FRLS cable of copper conductor multi stranded of size 1.5 sqmm (Nominal size) drawn through and including non metallic rigid PVC conduit medium grade, ISI marked not less then 20mm dia with all accessories like tee, straight joint, L bend etc concealed in wall , ceiling , floor etc, pressed MS Sunken boxes in wall of required size and colour for switches and sockets, 1.5 sqmm (Nominal size) PVC insulated (green insulation) copper conductor FRLS earth continuity cable drawn with wiring and connected to common earth dolly all as specified for one light point/fan point controlled by one SP switch including making good distrubed surface, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Cost for MS Sunken Boxes, Hylum sheets are cutting, chieseling and cutting the wall/Ceiling for conduit fixing. The disturbed surfaces of wall for concealing the wiring shall be make good by applying cement plaster, putty and colour wash etc matching with the existing surfaces. The rate for point wiring shall be deemed to include the cost of making good.

Note- (i) The two runs of single core cable and specified earth continuity conductor and PVC conduit with fitting acessories will be measured as one run. Taking down ceiling fans of any sweep and any size including cable connections and disconnecting of fan blades and removing the fan with blades and deposit to store yard for further hanging in its original position or any other position including as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including it's fitting and fixtures after carrying out service includes cleaning, greasing and oiling, painting of fan with one coat of synthetic enamel spraying painting including marking of MES number with black paint after preparation of surface reassembling the fan etc including testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Any damage has to be made good by the contractor to make the item functional after testing.

M&L for cutting openning through brick wall 230mm thick built in cement motar suitable for exhaust fan 300mm seep including making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing old unserviceable underground LT cable upto 70 Sqmm, 3.5 core, removal from trenches/ wall/pole and removed from site, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying LT UG armoured XLPE insulated 1100 volt grade heavy duty cable, multi stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel strip wire or tape and connecting up to the electrical system with suitable size of aluminium lugs of size 300 sqmm 3.5 core, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying LT UG armoured XLPE insulated 1100 volt grade heavy duty cable, multi stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel strip wire or tape and connecting up to the electrical system with suitable size of aluminium lugs of size 70 sqmm 3.5 core, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick of common burnt clay, sub class 'B' old size laid flat and dry on cables as in cable protection in trenches over cables perpendicular to direction of cables abutting each other, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for river bed fine sand in trenches/ ducts 15 cm under cable and 8 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable including spreding, levelling and get thick 18cm after hand punning, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- For the purpose of measurment planned thickness shall be taken

S&F for galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 50mm bore for cable protection on the wall under road under drains, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting of road, cutting chases pining in making good to facing where required to edges of landing road, hard standing, etc. and cutting chases for concealed water tubing making good exc. 20 cm but not exc. 60 cm width and digging of excavation 40 cm but not exc. 1 m depth in bituminous road / concrete surface and making good as existing surface by using 0.63 mm hard core as required including premixed high performance cold mix patching material ideal for instant as require high quality repairs to bituminous as well as concrete surface all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and installation in replacement of LT Electric control panel, cubical type, for out door use, dust & vermin proof floor mounted made out of CRCA steel sheet of 3.15 mm thick and 2.00 mm thick other parts and angle iron legs of size 50mmx50mmx6mm having front and rear hinged doors with front openable shutters for each MCCB with spreader & extended rotary handle having hinges on one side and locating arrangements with screws type on other sides completely with fully enclosed bus bar chamber, having electrolytic high conductivity insulated bas bar made but of aluminium strips of rating 1000 amps for 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 C/S 4 wire system, with cable entry provision, with suitable lugs gland, voltmeter, Ammeter and phase indicator complete, duly painted with two coats of stove enameled powder coated paint over as coat of red oxide primer complete all as ncluding necessary PCC work of height 45 cm from the ground level and equipped with the following items. Note: Drawing and all materials viz MCB/MCCB/ instruments etc. for LT panel shall be got approved by GE before fabrication. Rate for MCCBs, MCBs, instruments is included in unit rate of items :-

Material & labour in replacement of earthing with Galvanised Steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanised Iron strip of 25×4mm as earthing lead (upto the body of the equipment) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and thimbles and protected by light grade 40mm dia GI pipe connected up to main DB/LT Panel /Test point and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel , wire mesh , RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, including excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning , filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009(Part-I) complete all as specified and directed. Note : GI strip and protection pipes 40 mm GI light grade up to 7.5 metre is included in unit rate and beyond that the same will be measured separately.

Contract Amount shall be derived after deducting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
