Note : Necessary reinforcements shall be measured and paid separately.
M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L fly ash Brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : (i) The supervisor shall collect of complaint slip from complaint cell from AGE B/R I Office and the time of completion of job is within 24 hours after detailment by JE/ Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : (a) Cost of disposing of the waste / sludge etc in appropriate way shall deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate. (b) Any damage caused during cleaning shall be made good to entire satisfaction to Engr-in-Charge by the contractor without any extra cost.
Roding the sewage line with Jet rodding machine by Mechanical means with pressure Jet pump of 100 mm dia between manholes and gully trap /two adjointing manholes any depth and removing all foreign materials and sludge from the pipe line and making sewage line functional and disposing the waste in appropriate way complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item ser No 30 above here-in-before but 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of septic tank with mechanical equipment including bailing out water, from it and removing sludge and blockages from inlet and outlet of sewer lines including taking out the excavated sludge and carting away the same to a distance far away from residential/office area and cover the same with fresh earth disposing off by standard engineering practice as prescribed by local authority and recommissioning the septic tank including site clearance to a distance of 3 Metre around septic tank complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity :-
For septic tank of 25 users capacity.
For septic tank of 50 users capacity.
For septic tank of 100 users capacity.
For septic tank of 250 users capacity.
For septic tank of 500 users capacity.
Cleaning of sewage sumps of any depth by dewatering and removal of sludge by honey Shoker machine and application lime washing inside the sumps complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Bailing out sewage water with mechanical equipment, cleaning & removing silt/sludge, mud, vegetation and foreign materials etc. from oxidation pond of size 134metre x 45metre (Bottom size of tank) and cutting of bushes, vegetation shrubs, brushwood, under growth etc up to roots on slanting portion of oxidation pond and removal of silt/sludge, mud, bushes etc. from the premises to a distance exceeding 1000metre and not exceeding 1500metre and disposed off, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cutting of bushes, vegetation, shrubs, brush wood, under growth etc. up to roots alround 4.00metre (in width) from the edges of existing Oxidation ponds, including surface dressing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cleaning of collection chamber of Oxidation pond with mechanical equipment and setting chamber including bailing out water, removing sludge, mud, stone and foreign materials etc. to a distance 1000metre away from the residential area (i.e.) outside the Defence premises complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cleaning, removing, deposited sludge, blockage from manholes, taking out the excavated sludge, cleaning the manholes neatly and carting away the same far away from buildings/living area and deposit at low lying area/ditches and cover with fresh earth on top and disposing off by standard engineering practice as prescribed by local authority all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity :-
For manholes upto 0.45metre deep from invert to top of manhole cover.
For manholes exceeding 0.45metre deep and not exceeding 1.5metre deep from invert to top of manhole cover.
For manholes exceeding 1.5metre deep to any depth with mechanical equipment.
S&F in repairs PTMT grating 100/125mm dia with hole/without hole and fixing with white cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking down rain water pipes, waste/soil pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan necks, etc including cleaning or refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
S&F in repairs 75mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joint fixed complete to walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning and maint of static water tank of capacity 15000 gallon or more, each by pumping out through pumping set/ submersible pump and scraping out inside bleaching residual, sediments, sand, slushy mud, fungus caling etc with the help of wire brush steel patti, broom and jute bags from the bottom and walls of SWT of 15000 gallon capacity each using ladder in SWT and taking out the residual with the of buckets and rope and throwing the same at a distance not less than 100metre away from the SWT. Cleaning/Washing inside the SWT with detergent powder and cleaning the sump with fresh water two times and applying two coats of white lime wash inside bottom and walls of SWT, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Necessary safety precaution along with safety gears masks, shoes etc shall be provided by contractor for labours deployed and cost of the quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of this factors.
Cleaning and De-sludging by removing semi solid sludge/solid sludge (Dry/wet condition) from the septic tank of any capacity at any depth mechanically in foul condition including necessary tools and plants required to removal of sludges and solid contents from the site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The sludge obtained after de-sludging is contractors property as credit schedule contractor should remove the sludge out side defence land immediately in covered vehicle without any extra cost. Necessary safety precautions shall be provided by contractor and cost of the quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of above factor.
Dewatering the existing soakage wells/septic tanks by bailing out/pumping out or by any mechanical means and deposition the same off collected in closed tanker/container and removing, disposing outside of defence land without extra cost, no dewatering will be done in drainages or on open ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : This work should be performed under the supervision of executives only.
S&F in repair salt glazed stoneware gully traps of size 150 x 150 mm, square or rounded mouthed, type `P' fixed in CM 1:6 and cover with RCC cover slab of size 200 X 200 X 50mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note for item No 01 to 63 : The following points should be adhered to:- (i) Contractor has to engage minimum two safaiwala with machineries and equipments and one supervisor with mobile phones without camera. The team must be reported in the complaint cell/ sub div in proper uniform and with all necessary T&P such as green female bamboo strips, iron rods, sewage rodding machine, buckets, rope, ladder, safety mask, etc for execution of the item. The quoted rate shall also be included the cost of conveyance of workers, supervisors, materials and T&P. (ii) Team of workers with T&P shall be attend the complaints of the entire area as directed by Engr-in-charge and the completion of work shall be reported by 05:00 PM of every working day. (iii) Contractor or his representative shall report daily at 09:00 AM in the office of Engr-in-charge/ complaint cell to receive complaint slip and necessary directions. Complaints received from JE/Engr-in-charge through telephone message also shall be attended on the same day.
(iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by Engr-in-charge at sub divn/ complaint cell. In case of absence of workers a penal recovery of Rs 600 per day per worker shall be imposed on contractor. (v) A complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of complaints received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and shall be signed daily by both the parties. Complaint register shall be kept on record of Engr-in-Charge after completion of work. (vi) Complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of complaints received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and signed by both the parties at the end of the day. (vii) Complaints of blockage of sewage line/ manhole/ nahani trap if unattended within 24 hours after issuance of complaint slips or telephonic direction a penalty of Rs 300/- per each complaint shall be imposed on contractor.
(viii) GE/Engr-in-charge will have no liability to give permanency of the employment of workers. A certificate in this regard shall be rendered by contractor prior to the commencement of the work. (ix) Payment to the workers shall be properly receipted. A certificate shall be produced by the contractor that the every employee engaged by him have been paid their wage in full. (x) Contractor will not permitted to engage child labour in the work. (xi) Contractor shall provide uniform with name plate as approved by Engr-in-charge to the workers. (xii) Supervisor shall be obtained necessary directions from JE/Engr-in-charge and supervise the workers. Payment will be done on the basis of nature of complaints as per CA only. (xiii) Each worker shall be submitted affidavit in stamp paper duly notary that he will not claim employment from department. (xiv) Contractor shall submit accident /risk insurance policy of each worker engaged in cleaning sewage system. (xv)All sewage cleaning work in the subject work should be done through mechanical equpment only. Involving manpower direct contact to sewage is strictly prohibited as per Government laws.
