Boring/ Drilling/trail pilot bore' of suitable dia of 200mm bore , by suitable method (by DTH-cum-rotary or reverse rig method or hammer method or telescopic method) to any depth (not exceeding 200m) below groung level in any type of strata/ soil/ rock with sand including disposal of materials obtained (soil, rock etc.) from boring to a distance not exceeding 50m with and including deploying required rig, machinary, T&P, equipments etc with and including collection of logical samples (drilling/cutting) and to maintain drilling time logbook complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Neccessary fuel, lubricant and chemicals extra required for construction work shall be arranged by contractor and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. 2. Depending upon availability of water bearing strata, drilling beyond 180 m below ground level be carried out with prior written approval of GE. 3. Items except Srl no 1 to be executed only after succesful execution of this item of work / successful boring depending upon availability of water. No any claim of contractor on this account shall be entertained.

Development of pilot / trial bore by reaming vertical bore upto 550 mm in steps by heavy duty direct rotary rig machine at approved site location in any type of strata for 200mm bore ERW casing pipe for following depth as mentioned below including all connected works complete all as specified and directed :-

Upto a depth of 100 metre from ground level.

From depth exceeding 101 metre depth as required at site and as directed by Engineer-inCharge. Note :- The cost of hiring and transportation of suitable truck mounted rig machine and other required equipments deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supplying, assembling and lowering in position in the bore hole inner assembly of MS housing blind pipes ERW grade, threaded and socket jointed, 175 mm nominal bore and 5 mm wall thickness or bevelled end confirming to IS 4270 complete all as specified and directed

Supplying, assembling and lowering in position in the bore hole inner assembly of MS housing slotted pipes ERW grade, threaded and socket jointed, 175 mm nominal bore and 5 mm wall thickness or bevelled end confirming to IS 4270 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The length as mentioned under item no 3 & 4 may vary as per availability of water.

S&F Housing clamps in position MS holding down clamps (Set of two nos.) made out of 40 mm X5 mm flat iron and length upto 0.75 metre , bent to shape as suitable to holding 80mm coloumn pipe, complete with 4 Nos. nut, bolt & washers, complete all as speicifed and directed.

Supplying sample box of strata sample made out of teak wood planks 25mm thick size of board 1000mm X 1000mm, size of sample bins 100mm X 100mm with front provided with glazed hinged shutters, hasp and staples for strata samples as found while drilling tube well and fixed in position, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for packing with pea gravels of size 3 to 8 mm natural shape brought direct from river bank, packing around casing pipe to entire depth upto ground level, complete all as specified and directed.

Developing the tube / bore well firstly by means of pumping unit using air compressor unit of adequate capacity not less than 250 PSI and then by over pumping untill sand free water is obtained & testing the yield for duration as under :-

With air compressor (first 24 hours).

With air compressor (24 hours to 48 hours).

Over pumping with the help of suitable size of pump and accessories and standby DG set in order to ensure continuous pumping for 24 hours and yield test by 'V' notch method/ orfice method complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of provision/ hiring and transportation of of all T&P required for testing and other equipments required are deemed to be included in quoted rate and yield test report to be submitted by contractor.

M & L for Chemical and bacteriological testing of water sample to ensure potability of water including collection of samples, carrying to Lab and testing charges etc.complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix CI non return valve, flanged ended, PN-1.0 of 65mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Stainless steel Submersible pump set, electric driven 415 V, of Capacity 20 HP with head range of 180-430 RM and discharge of 225-80 LPM, outlet size 65 mm suitable for 200 mm dia bore well, complete, all as specified and directed. Make : Crompton , 650 CS Series Rating-650CS60-2030 or equavalent make of appx 'B' as approved.

M & L for Star Delta Starter controllerpanel suitable for Submersible motor of Capacity 20 HP 3 Phase, Relay Range 15-22A, complete, all as specified and directed.

M & L for submersible copper cable of size 10 Sqmm, 3 Core, complete all as speified and directed.

Supply and fix UPVC Pipe of 65 mm bore of SH 40 grade including jointing materials complete for coloumn pipe suitable for lowering in 175/ 200 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

S&F 5000 Ltrs capacity, rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part – I, including 20mm ball brass valves, high pressure with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed to 20 mm bore steel tube complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing 4.8mm thick, nominal dia 80 mm as per IS 1239 Part-I (2004), MS Pipes ERW Steel duly welded / flanged including all fittings as required at site during laying of pipe line / column pipe for bore including specials, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Sluice Valve 80mm (3”) dia of class PN - 1.6 suitable for fixing with MS Pipe / Tee for making draining arrangement complete all as speicifed and directed.

M & L for 80 mm MS tee suitable for fixing with 80mm MS Pipe and Sluice valve for making drain arrangement of pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing nylon rope twisted, virgin polypropylene, 10-20mm, suitable size for hanging submersible pump, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in position mild steel well cap of MS plate 6mm thick with and internal threading and locking arrangement having opening for column pipe and submersible cable for housing pipe of 200 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate. Connected with galvanised iron earth strip 25x4mm by means of bolts, nuts hook nuts and washers as earth lead including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mmx300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4) funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size in (1:2:4) Type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate ) reinforced with XPM all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1 (2009) and specified including and provision of GI strip upto 7.5 mtrs long with 15 mm bore dia light grade GI pipe for protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all excavation and earth work and connecting the earthing strip, including testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth in a hard/dense soil for laying underground cables/ pipe/errection of steel tubular poles / stay pit etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying dry bricks old size with subclass 'B' made of burnt clay best quality locally available with permissible tolerance, laid straight trench for protection of cable all as specified and directed

Returning and filling in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtained from excavated soil upto depth of 30 cm (8 cm below cable and remaining above cable for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil complete all as specified and directed. Note. Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS - 1255-1983 and refilling in trenches as in cable cushioning.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance n.exc 50 m and depostimg where directed at alevel n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE insulated IS 7098 (Part-I)-1988, ISI marked, screened, PVC sheathed, armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto and including 1100 volts, cross sectional area of cable 35 sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/fixed on pole/wall/passed through pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB 3 pole 415V, fixed thermal and fixed magnetic type of capacity 40 Amps with breaking capacity 25 KA, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells Cat Part No - IHLGHT0040 or equavalent make of appx 'B' as approved.

Supply and fixing enclosures for MCCB 'G' frame TP suitable for above mentioned MCCB, all as specified & directed. Make Havells - cat no IHEGTP or equavalent make of appx 'B' as approved.

S & F GI tubing 50mm bore (Light grade) laid in trenches under road or fixed to wall as mechnical protection of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete ass as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete block masonary in 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with solid block exc. 10 cm width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on external surfaces of brickwork/concrete surface, finished fair and even complete all as specified & directed.
