Maintenance of road light/street light such as HPSV/HPMV on various roads including operation of switches as per direction. The work include repairing of any type of fixtures(such as sodium, mercury tube road etc) including replacing necessary electrical items/ accessories/ choke , bulb, tube rod, starter, igniter, fixture and wires, etc whatsoever required and refixing to the pole for proper functioning of street light. The work shall be carried out as per terms and conditions enclosed and as per specification and direction of engineer in charge with provision of one electrician/ person at unit office to attend the complaint and report to engineer incharge on same day. the necessary electrical material should be supplied by the contractor on his own cost. Material should be ISI marked and in category Ist. HPSV/ HPMVPayment will be made only for exact number of lights which are regularly functioning and deduction for number of lights which are not functioning in the industrial area will be made at one time of the rate (accordingly deduction for light which are not functioning becomes two times of the rate from total payment due for total number of lights whose operation and maintenance was awarded to contractor).
