Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/dense soil each n.exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m and making good surface all as specified & as directed.

Surface excavation in hard/dense soil not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete including removal to distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 1000m all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil or any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.Note : Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty @ Rs 500/- will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final conclusive and binding.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose/ hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point

Taking out old unserviceable cable of any size carefully from trenches ofter disconnecting electric connection, GI pipe protection, with and including separating serviceable bricks & set aside and removing un-serviceable bricks from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The Excavation and earth work shall be mesured and paid separately under relevant item of Schedule.

Supply & spreading in trenches dry river sand cushioning to underground cable in trenches including spreading, levelling hand punning down complete all as specified and directed Note:- Depth of sand cushioning will be measured after punning down and levelling the sand properly.

M & L for laying of fly ash bricks well burnt old designation 75 cable protection cover laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable perpendicular to the direction of cable all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing unserviceable material exc 1500 mtr out side of MOD land complete all as directed as specified.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position (Reinforement cut as required to facilitate demolition) and removing unserviceable material exc 1500 mtr out side of MOD land complete all as directed as specified.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), soil waste pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and as directed

M&L moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings laid in layers nexc 15cm thick spread levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and as directed

M&L Cutting openings through walls for door, window and other openings or enlarging existing openings, etc., or cutting out defective masonry for under?pinning including providing, fixing and removing, shoring, cleaning and stacking stone and removing surplus to store and rubbish off the prem complete all as specified

Taking down cement plaster from brick or concrete surfaces of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles and rubbish off the premises complete all as directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness as on platform, shelves, floors etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as directed.

Taking up or down 15 mm bore of steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified.

Taking up or down 20 mm bore of steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete as in floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 Kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10cm girth in brick walls complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling with cement mortar (1:4) with using WPC as per manufacturers instruction over two coast of primer mixed of Latex and cement @ 1:4 (by weight) in the grooved portion and extended upto 100 mm both sides of groove complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for waterproofing treatment to existing RCC roof in the following steps complete all as specified and directed. (i) Complete removal of the existing water proofing treatment including padding (buid in cm/concrete) and removing of debris from premises and cleaning roof surfaces by brushing etc and washing down with water and removing dirt, dust etc complete (ii) Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with a layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq. m, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cu.m per sq.m, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) (iiii) Supply and Laying, chicken wire mesh of size 12.5 mm x 0.51 mm (24 SWG) hexagonal construction including all laps, cutting and waste in fabric reinforcement to PCC roof padding including providing 40 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0using 12.5 mm graded aggregates as in roof padding. (iv) Providing 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:3), mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions, on concrete surface of roofs or terracing and finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement. (v) Waterproofing treatment over smooth finished surfaces after application of bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltrs per sqm over prepared surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces confirming to IS : 3384 (primer and membrane to be used shall be same manufacturer) prime shall be brand of Shalitex of STP or EmufalTE of M/s Texa Indian Ltd or cold stick bitumen primer of M/s IWL or equivalent make ,(vi) providing and laying APP polymer, modified, non-woven polyester fabric of 150 grams/square metre, reinforced membrane, 3.00 mm thick, weighing 3.60 Kg / Sq M, by torch on application method, with minimum 75 mm overlap on longitudinal direction and 100 mm overlap on the transverse direction and (vii)finally applying with one coat of bituminous based solar reflective aluminium paint @ 125 gms / Sq M or as per manufacturer,s instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make of APP Membrane : M/s STP Ltd./M/s Texsa India Ltd./M/s IWL India Ltd 3. APP membrane shall be laid and tested by the manufacturer deploying their own team under strict supervisionand Leak proof testing with ponding with water shall be done for 72 hours in presence of user representative and report shall be submitted. Requisite 10 years guarantee certificate from manufacturer along with contractor’s certificate required to be furnished after successfully completion of testing. The submission of both certificate is mandatory before issue of completion certificate.

(iii) Applying bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltrs per sqm over prepared surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces confirming to IS : 3384.(primer and membrane to be used shall be same manufacturer) prime shall be brand of Shalitex of STP or EmufalTE of M/s Texa Indian Ltd or cold stick bitumen primer of M/s IWL or equivalent make (iv) One layer of APP based polymeric membranes of approved manufacturers, 3 mm thick, weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester fabric (weight not less than 160 gms/sqm). Polymeric membrane shall be taken to cover the thickness of slab and shall be finished by a membrane flushing. Note: (v) Laying of APP based membranes shall be done by torch application or as per manufacturer's instructions. (vi) Side overlaps shall be minimum 75 mm and the end taps shall be minimum 100 mm and sealing of all overlaps & joints as per manufacturer instruction. (vii) For parapets, membranes shall be taken to a height of minimum 60 Cm and then inserted to the parapet in a groove. The same shall be finished by a membrane flashing.(viii)finally applying with one coat of bituminous based solar reflective aluminium paint @ 125 gms / Sq M or as per manufacturer,s instructions complete all as specified and directed 3. Materials and Labour for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate in lintels up to 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles throating,and roof padding as directed including necessary from work complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar (1:4) complete with joints to match complete all as specified and as directed

Materials and Labour for reinforced cement concrete M-20 Nominal mix in chajjas,beam ,landing and similar suspended work complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides and soffits of beams, bands and the like for fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of concrete surface of chajja/beam/slab thoroughly abraded to remove all laitance, any trace of loose plaster,cement concrete , oil, grease, paints and any other materials are to be removed by wire brushing the surface. The entire surface shall then be washed thoroughly with plenty of water and then allowed to dry. Defective concrete surfaces cut back to a sound base by chipping and removed loose concrete. Smooth surfaces to achieve by chemically roughened up to 10 Mtr height including appling bond coat of epoxy bonding agent (Nito Bond) & cement in 1 : 1 ratio bonding old and new concrete on damaged surface and all necessary scaffolding and safety measures all as specified and directed. .(The cost of entire operation shall be carried out by approved manufacturers or their authorized applicator and deemed to be included in unit rate).

M&L for cleaning to expose corruded reinforcement of chajja/beam/slab by wire brushing, emery paper or by mechanical means and to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit and washing complete and providing additional reinforcement TMT bars of approved make, cut to length by electro welding method and applying one coat of rust removing chemical and anti rust coating (zinc) along its full circumference up to 10 Mtr height including all necessary scaffolding and safety measures all as specified and directed. (Manufacturer name of chemical shall be : Fosroc/Sika/Pidilite/BASAF) The cost of entire operation shall be carried out by approved manufacturers or their authorized applicator and deemed to be included in unit rate).

M&L for providiing and placing high built repair ready mix concrete (Micro concrete) grade of M-50 specification and strength conforming to ASTM- C109-99,ASTM- C 307 ,BS1881 Part 207 to expose corroded reinforcement of chajja/beam/slab with bonding agent as per manufactures instruction (Manufacturer : Fosroc/Sika/Pidilite/BASAF) proper compaction and finished to proper level upto a Average depth of 20mm with and including provision of formwork to the affected portion up to 10 Mtr height including all necessary scaffolding all as specified and directed.(entire operation shall be done by the approved manufacturer or their authorized applicator and deemed to be included in the unit rate)

Supply and Fix, factory made wire gauzed PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded prelam PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and prelam PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; The wire gauze shall be wrapped on an additional square 8mm M.S. Solid tube and this tube shall be welded to M.S. tubes. The wire gauge shall be stretched to tighten firmly, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and directed.
