83970/E8 REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN INTERNAL ROADS AT AF STATION MOHANBARI UNDER GE (AF) MOHANBARI

Repairs to potholes, not exc.1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, mecadam or bituminous surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm complete all as directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm size) with granite, traps or basalt and spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No.3.00 here-in-before but except material. (Retrieved material shall be used)

Material and labour for premix bituminous mecadam with paving bitumen (considering binder content, grade VG-30 of 4% by weight of total mix) in hot mix plant, laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The bitumen mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as directed.

Preparing of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and fanally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Premix asphaltic Bituminous concrete shall be disigned as specified and bitumen binder/ content shall be produced as per design mix. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 75 per kg of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

Material and labour for painting lines on roads with 10cm width conforming to MORTH specifications mechanically applied to form a 1.5mm thick film on road including cleaning and drying the existing road surface to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surface before applying the paint etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs for two way reflective road stud of size 100x100x20mm made of heavy duty body of moulded ASA (acrylic styrene acryloretrite) or HIP (high impact polystryne) or ABS having electronically welded micro-prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved. The cats eye shall support a load of 25 tonne and impact strength shall be about 253 KN and shall be tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35+5 degrees to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12cm of reflective area up each side. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as specified and as directed. Make: DARK EYE, model: DA 978/ OSCAR, Model No.OS 776 or equivalent in the other approved makes.
