Removing Vegetation grown on wall,sun shades by cutting, scraping, washing with water under pressure & disposing the waste as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

Removing the linolium by heating the topper & using the scraper mechine to remove the flooring, removing the adhesive with suitable chemical solution& the like & washing with water to remove the traces of adhesive dirt etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

Cleaning/ washing granite/Cudappa /ceramic tiles in flooring/ dadoing and sanitary fittings using non scratch brush and oxalic acid or caustic soda or detergent to remove stains and flushing with water removing rubbish etc., complete. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

a) Flooring and dadoing

b) In sanitary fittings like Washbasin/ Urinals/ WC pan and the like

Filling cinder in the sunken floor of the toilet etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC (SWR grade) Soil, waste, vent pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type-B, including jointing with seal ring IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion,conforming to IS : 13592: Single socketed pipes.

a) 110 mm diameter

Providing and fixing PVC fittings compatible for SWR pipes of approved quality as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

a) 110 mm DOOR TEE

b) 110 mm COLLAR

c) 110 mm Y WITH DOOR

Providing and fixing ready made GI slotted wall bracket with 8 mm GI -U bolt with nuts and washer including fixing wall bracket on wall/ RCC surface by 10 mmx100 mm expansion anchor bolts etc. complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge for fixing up to 110 mm rain water/sanitary pipes

Providing and applying elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers ( SMART CARE DAMP PROOF ULTRA of asian paints (white shade ) or equivalent, approved by engineer in charge) 3 coats comprising of a prime coat with a dilution of 30% as a self-priming coat on top of concrete roof. Allow the prime coat to dry for 4-6hours and apply the undiluted 1st coat using a brush or a roller in uni-direction. Allow the 1st coat to dry for 4-6hours and apply the 2nd coat in perpendicular direction to the previous coat. All the operations shall be carried out as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( warranty as per manufactures specification shall also be provided for approriate period)

Methods of application: i) Cleaning : Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust , grease etc. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely. It is recommended to use Intense wire brushing, High speed water jet and a vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid "Peeling off" problems.

ii) REPAIRING : The substrate must be checked for its soundness using a small hammer. All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated.

iii) FILLING FOR CRACKS : For filling cracks up to 3mm use Asian Paints Crack Seal. Bigger cracks, damaged portions and hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortars.

iv) SELF PRIMING SMARTCARE DAMP PROOF ULTRA with 33 % dilution with water ,4-6 hours recoating period time is required for recoating next coat.

v) 1st coat - WATERPROOFING SMARTCARE DAMP PROOF ULTRA without dilution,4-6 hours recoating period time is required for recoating next coat.

vi) 2nd Coat - WATERPROOFING SMARTCARE DAMP PROOF ULTRA.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges,making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge

a) 25 mm average thickness

Grading roof for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size) mixing integral water proofing compound (200 ml liquid compound for 50 kg of cement or as specified by manufacturer) finishing top surface with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry mixed with integral water proofing compound (200 ml liquid compound for 50 kg of cement or as specified by manufacturer) to match the existing treatment, marking a grid of 300mmx300mm in chequrred pattern in finished surface complete as directed. (rate includes necessary scaffolding/ladder arrangement)

Dismantling C.I. or asbestos rain water pipe with fittings and clamps including stacking the material within 50 metres lead :

a) 75 to 80 mm dia pipe.

b) 100 mm dia pipe

Dismantling 15 to 40 mm dia G.I. pipe including stacking of dismantled pipes (within 50 metres lead) as per direction of Engineerin-Charge.

a) Internal Work- Exposed on wall

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspectionof work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

a) For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Dismantling W.C. Pan of all sizes including disposal of dismantled materials i/c malba all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

Dismantling of flushing cistern of all types (C.I./PVC/Vitreous China) including stacking of useful materials near the site and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead.

Making hole up to 20x20 cm and embedding pipes up to 150 mm diameter in masonry and filling with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)including disposal of malba.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

a) Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Demolishing lime concrete manually/ by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer in-charge

Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C., kitchen and the like consisting of:

(i) Ist course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface.

(ii) IInd course of 20 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface.

(iii) IIIrd course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 kg. per sqm of area.

(iv) IVth course of 400 micron thick PVC sheet. (Overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100 mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @ 1.7 kg/sqm).

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 fine sand derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours, shades, except White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approvedmake, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete

Distempering with FIRST QUALITY acrylic distemper(ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50gms /litre of approved brand and manufacture& of required shade & colour all complete to give an even shade & colour :

New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50gms /litre

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty:

Float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weight not less than 10kg/sqm).

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. : Internal work - Exposed on wall

a) 25 mm nominal outer dia .Pipes.

Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) :

a) 40 mm nominal bore

Providing and placing on terrace (at all floor levels) polyethylene water storage tank, IS : 12701 marked, with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.

a) Electric resistance or induction butt welded tubes.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ Ceosetory windows & other Frames/ Chowkhat comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/ borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with M.S hold fast/ lugs/ SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

(M.S hold fast/ lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately). Note: For WPC solid door/ window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimensions i.e depth and width of profile shall be acceptable. Variationin profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made.

a) Frame size 50 x 100 mm

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush door shutter of required size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

(Note: stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S.S screws shall be paid separately)

a) 30 mm thick

Providing & fixing UV stabilised fiberglass reinforced plastic sheet roofing up to any pitch, including fixing with polymer coated ‘J’ or ‘L’ hooks, bolts & nuts 8 mm dia. G.I plain/bitumen washers complete but excluding the cost of purlins, rafters, trusses etc. The sheets shall be manufactured out of 2400 TEX panel rovigs incorporating minimum 0.3% ultra-violet stabiliser in resin system under approximately 2400 psi and hot cured. They shall be of uniform pigmentation and thickness without air pockets and shall conform to IS 10192 and IS 12866.The sheets shall be opaque or translucent, clear or pigmented, textured or smooth as specified.

a) 2mm thick flat.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
