STRENGTHENING OF THE ROAD FROM KOMBIRANVAYAL ROAD IN KALLIVAYAL PANCHAYAT KM 0/0 0/288 ( R - 157 )

Clearing and grubbing Scrub jungle road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.

Earth work excavation and depositing on bank within initial lead of 10m & initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders SS .20.A

Providing and Laying Gravel Soling to compacted thick including cost & conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, water and compacting by Power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at optimum moisture content and hire and fuel charges for power roller, water sprinkler and all other incdidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing danger lights etc., complete.

Construction of Granular Sub base by providing well graded material (25 mm to 4.75 mm IRC HBG metal @ 65 %,4.75 to 2.36mm IRC HBG metal @20%&2.36 mm below IRC HBG metal @15%)& (the material passing 425 microns sieve shall have liquid limit and plasticity index not more than 25 & 6% repectively) spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotovator at OMC and compacting with three wheel 80-100 KN capacity and finished in accordance with the requirements of the specification and thickness as per approved plans or as directed by the Engineer (Mix -in - place method) .

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and laying of prime coat using Emulsion at the rate of 7 Kg per ten square meter over the WMM surface preparatory to another bituminous construction over it.

Providing and laying Tack coat over WMM surface(treated with primer) using 2.5Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for 10sqm for preparatory to another bituminous construction over it including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

Providing and laying premix carpet with seal coat type 'A' for 20mm thickness using 0.18 cum of 13.2 mm IRC HBG metal and 0.09 cum of 11.2mm IRC with 14.6kg. of bitumen for premisign 10sqm. of premix carpet and 0.09 cum of 6.70cum IRC HBG metal with 9.8kg. of bitumen for seal coat type 'A' per 10sqm including cost and conveyance fo all materials mixing them with bitumen in mini hot mix plant for premix carpet only rolling by 80/100KN power roller for premix carpet and seal coat separately including labour charges for spreading the mix for premix carpet application of bitumen for seal coat over premix carpet including hire charges for fuel charges for mini hot mix plant, bitumen boiler, power roller and all other T&P's employed etc., complete.
