Draining out the old engine oil from DG set, cleaning of deposits and rectifying leakages, if any, by means of welding, brazing and cleaning of oil tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Supply and filling of new Engine oil complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M & L for taking down radiator from DG Set of any type /make of capacity 20 to 50 KVA from base mounting , cleaning /descaling by using of air compressor and cleaning with suitable stain removal detergent along with chemical etc.; repair and servicing of radiator fan including greasing and rectifying radiator fan V belt tension ;rectifying water leakage by means of welding / brazing; including renewal of all connecting parts i.e. radiator hose pipe with clamps , bolts, nuts, washers, rubber bush packing material etc and re-assembling the radiator and fixing with DG set properly in original position, checking the alignment, making proper hose connection, testing for smooth operation complete all as directed . Note :- The cost of renewed parts is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by contractor. No extra cost shall be paid to the contractor for the same.

Dismantling of AC Alternator assembly of any capacity including taking out of worn out windings of Rotor and stator including rewinding the coils with suitable gauge of super enamelled winding wire of copper, renewal of insulation materials, heat varnishing, connecting leads and terminal plates all as required to make DG set serviceable and including reassembling the same after necessary testing all as directed. Note:-(a)The item rate includes shifting of alternator from location to workshop and back to the installation complete all as directed. (b) Winding coils of super enamelled copper shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of the schedule.

Repair of DC alternator for battery charging 12 Volts 180/150 AH and renewal of minor parts like bush, o ring assembly , bush set, sealing kit, including assembling and re fixing at site complete all as specified and directed.

Testing, inspection and rectifying the defects for DG sets of any capacity ranges from 20 KVA to 500 KVA and any make and Model by qualified DG Set mechanic cum electrician by testing of complete units, and panels and governor Control setting and voltage fluctuation rectification including testing of self starter and battery and AMF panel and control panel etc and find out/detect the faults by setting/adjustment and rectify the defects in situ by using required spares and repair jobs and cleaning / normal maintenance to the DG Set complete to make the DG set functional in all respect complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (a) Spare parts and repair jobs of DG sets are measured separately under relevant items. (b) Register must be maintained by the contractor for the jobs carried out during breakdowns attending complaints and rectification of faults. (b) In this job only breakdown faults will be measured as a job. and Minor and other major repairs and periodical,general servicing and preventive maintenance will be not considered in this job it will be measured in the respective repair jobs/refixing of spares items sub part. (c)The complaint lodged regarding unserviceability of DG set must be attended by the qualified technician within 24 hours of complaint lodged and must be rectified on same day .

M & L for taking down of existing fuel from fuel tank by any means, removing of sludge and sediments deposited inside the fuel tank by repeatedly washing by using of chemical & detergent with air compressor including rectifing of leakage if found and refixing the same in position as per direction of engineer in charge by testing all as specified and directed. cap 400 KVA to 500 KVA DG Sets complete all as specified and directed.
