Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning, factory assembled silent Diesel Engine driven generator set, fully wired alternator AC to give an out put of 250 KVA continuously rating at a power factor 0.8 lagging, 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts 50 Hz ± 1% supply, 1500 RPM, directly coupled with diesel engine liquid cooled mounted on common base frame complete with floor mounting fuel tank (service tank) of minimum capacity 400 ltrs with fuel line & accessories, PCC foundation work as per manufacturer's instructions, vibration damper pads, control panel & other accessories etc. comprising of following components as described in following paragraphs to include dismantling of the existing DG set capacity 250 KVA complete with all accessories and depositing the same at the MES store yard at Naval Base Karwar.

(i) Diesel Engine :- Liquid cooled turbo charged with after cooler to deliver suitable BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS 5514 and conforming to IS 10002, DIN 6271 & ISO 3046 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in any 12 hours continuous operation with the following accessories, Diesel engine of rated speed at full load electric start developing with system with radiator and including electronic governor control of class A1, engine control panel, lub oil pump, water pump, fuel tank, exhaust pipe with silencer and suitable for electric start with batteries of adequate capacity and suitable for alternator of specified capacity complete with fly wheel direct/ flexible coupling and coupling guard complete all as specified and directed.

(a) Radiator with blower fan or heat exchanger with guard. (b) Pipe coupling for engine cooling system piping. (c ) Corrosion inhibitor coolant (d) Paper element filters (i) Fuel filter (ii) Lube oil filter (iii) By pass (e) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel to suit alternator. (f) Engine bearing mechanism in fly wheel housing. (g) Shut off coil with safety for LLOP/HWT/over speed. (h) Dry type air cleaners and vacuum indicators. (j) Residential silencers. (k) Stainless steel exhaust flexible bellows. (l) Motor driven priming pump. (m) Battery charging alternator.

(n) Exhaust piping made out of STIC C class, MS pipe inclusive of all accessories and hardware, necessary supports scaffolding as per manufacturer's recommendations to sustain back pressure with rain cap. (o) Mineral wool insulation 2 inch thick suitable for 400 degree Celsius temperature cladded with aluminium sheet o 30 gauge for the entire length of exhaust pipe. (p) First fill of oil, coolant and diesel during commissioning and 12 hours testing. (q) Inter-connecting copper cabling of adequate capacity batteries control. (r ) Fuel pipe class STIC 1" /1.5" /2" dia - 01 lot (s) Self starter 12 volts DC. (t) Electric operated electronic governor. (u) Fuel injection pump.

(IV)DG Controller :- (i) Microprocessor based generator controller system to set monitoring, metering and control system with LCD display such as the following parameters :- Control system: Digital AVR, Digital electronic governing & remote start - stop Engine metering : Oil pressure, Coolant temperature, battery voltage, Engine speed , Alternator metering : Line to Line voltage and Line to Neutral voltage, current (single and 3 phase), Volt - Amperes (phase and neutral) and frequency. Engine protection: Low lube oil pressure, High/Low coolant temperature, over speed, battery over/under/weak volts, fail to crank/ start sensor failure. AC Alternator protection: Over/Under voltage, over/under frequency, over current, short circuit and loss of AC sensing. Data logging: Engine hours, Control hours, Engine starts and up to 10 recent fault codes, 12 / 24 volt DC operation sleep mode.

(v) Electronic instrument panel, complete with all accessories as per manufacturer's specifications displaying the following:- (i) 12 V Battery. - 2 Nos (ii) Water temperature. (iii) Lubricating oil pressure. (iv) Engine speed -1500 Rpm (v) Engine hours (vi) Frequency. (vii) Voltage. (w) Safety control (Trip and indication). (i) High water temperature (ii) Low lube oil temperature (iii) Overspeed stop (x) Base frame : Sturdy, fabricated welded construction, channel iron base frame (duly painted) for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturer's design alonwith AVM pads. (y) Battery : 24 Volts (02 x 12 V Battery) DC, 90 AH, maintenance free battery conforming to IS:14257 with leads & terminals.

(ii) Alternator :- Suitable rated 250 KVA, 0.8 PF, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz at 1500 RPM, self excited and self regulated with AVR brushles, screen protected, drip proof, insulation class-H, IP -23, voltage regulation grade - VG 3 self ventilated and conforming to BS : 5000 / IS : 4722 suitable for engine as mentioned here-in before, conformig to IS: 13364 (Part-1) (iii) Acoustic Enclosure :- M&L for acoustic enclosure for the above 250 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75 dB measured at 1.0 meter distance for audiable frequencies as per guide of Central Pollution Control Board and size 3490 x 1340 x 1885 mm and manufacturer's specification and comprising of following from authorised GOEMs of Gen Set manufacturer's specified :-

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning AMF Control panel factory fabricated cubical type, free standing, floor mounted, outdoor type, IP-52, with rotary handle, provided with removable rear panels & hinged front panel for easy accessibility, fabricated out of not less than 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet including two coats of powder coated paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc and comprising of following :-

(a) AMF control circuit with 3 Pole MCCB 400 Amps - 01 No, with ultimate breaking capacity Icu-36 KA at 415 volts and microprocessor release conforming to IEC 60947 Part-I, aluminium busbar 40 x10 - 01 Set, digital timer 6 Amp-02 Nos, Battery charger 24 V 10 A -02 Nos, Relay with base 11 pin type 220 V - 01 No, MCB SP 6 A 10 kA -04 Nos, Rotary switch 6 A auto manual type - 02 Nos, Connectors DMC type 20 A 4 Way 2p, Indication lamp LED type 220 V - 05 Nos, VAF meter digital type -01 No, Add on Block type 2 NO 2 NC - 02 Nos, VMR 3 Phase digital type - 01 No, Contactor 4 Pole for Main & Gen Set Mc type 375A -02 Nos, spreader terminal 3 Pole type - 01 Set etc and thermal overload setting 70% to 100%, short circuit setting 5 to 10 times-02 Nos for main supply & DG set supply with HRC back up fuse complete with all DC control relays/ Line voltage monitor (LVM) as per OEM specifications incorporating motorised stored energy operating Engine start, stop, three attempt starting facility and failure to start etc. (b) Digital load manager : Three Phase 4 wire indicating V, I, PF, KVA, KW, F with serial communication port model No. EM6400 with class 1.0, CT of rating 400/5 per Phase- 03 Ns. (c) Bottom gland plate for incoming and outgoing cables. (d) Circuit diagram plate.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured heavy duty electric circular cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross-sectional area 150 Sqmm 3.5 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) of 1988 laid in trenches/wall/floors/ducts etc fixed with saddle and clamps or passing through pipes complete with cable and connection with proper thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed

Excavating over areas in soft/losse soil not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material/soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation/platform of size 7 x 2.8 x 0.9 mtr as mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and as directed. Note : GI earth strip upto 7.5 RM is included in the unit rate quoted.
