Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Tehnical Specifications Clause 201.

Earth work in embankment in new construction with soil minimum CBR of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading grading to required slope and compacted to the required density to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification class No. 305 the finished road surface will be as per x-section approved by the engineer. In case the qty. of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 1619 Cum. Then actual quantity (less than 1619 Cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 1619 Cum, then only 1619 Cum will be paid Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid.Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC - SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead.As per Tehnical Specifications Clause 301.

Providing and laying spreading and compacting 200 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) course in two layers (100+100mm) conforming to as per clause No. 406 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 including premixing with water to OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage to mixed material to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base / base coarse on well prepared surface and compacting with power/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density for all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification 2013. Note :- Only crushed stone material should be used on local sand / tibba sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index(PI)(MORT&H 406)

Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion medium setting @ 60 Kg. per hundred sqm on new WMM surface and complete in all respects including cost of emulsion as per clause No. 502 of MORT&H specification 5th revision. Instruction issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. (MORT&H 502)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen (Grade VG-10) pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification

Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by drum type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Entire installation is to be carried out strictly in the presence of manufacturer's representative only, at all times. Providing weep holes in brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/Wing wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of IV :20H towards outer face. Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications.
