RequiredTenderers will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. i.e. A x N x 2.5 - B as per KW-1 Document.

RequiredContractors has to upload the EPF Registration Certificate.

RequiredThe Bidders should upload Unbalanced Amount for below tenders in the form of FDR in favour of Executive Engineer, PWD Division, Hassan. Otherwise tender will not be considered.And also the successful Bidder should submit original FDR after opening of tender. Note - All the tenders will be rejected, if the same FDR is uploaded for many works.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidder send.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for these costs.

The employer reserves the rights to reject one or all the Tenders without assigning any reasons.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E-Procurement Portal.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

As per Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 1.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner other wise it will be rejected.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the original documents before approval.

Materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work.

Contractors should be registered with KPWD Class IV and above Registration.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tender should give all details and documents as per K.W-1.

Work should be carried out as per K/W-1 STD attached with tender .

The period of completion for civil works is 3 Months.

The succesful contractor should maintain the Road in good condition till August - 2025.

Contractor shall bound to comply the prevailing rules and regulations with regard to the EPF Contribution rules and any modifications there of before and after execution of agreement.

The FSD payable at the time of executing agreement, will be refunded only after successful completion of Defect Liability Period.

Contractors has to submit their labour EPF details with every Running Bill.

The estimate rates are inclusive of 18% GST .The rates quoted by the contractor should also be inclusive of 18% GST in all items and will not be paid separately

Contractors has to upload the E P F Registration Certificate.

Rates for supply of labour should include over head charges, contractor profit and Rs-2500 per amount fuel charges and necessary tools required for the maintainance of roads.

The Contractor Should deploy the total number of labours as mentioned in the tender schedule.

Contractor should deploy the labour as per the roaster system mentioned by the Executive engineer.

Contractor Should deploy the Labour having motor vehicle / two wheeler along with valid driving licence.

The Responsibility of Contractor is to deploy the labour and concerned Engineer will assign the Works to the labour.

Irrespective of T.P of Successive bidder, the agency should abide to pay wages to the unskilled labours as per the minimum wages act.

The contractors must make the Payments of Wages to the Road Conductor on Monthly basis, irrespective of Payment Cleared by the Public Works Department.

There shall not be any employee-employer relationship between the Department and the Road assistant deployed.

The Contractor must ensure that the deployed road conductor should fulfill the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the circlur no.PWD/995/IFA/2023(E) Dated 24.05.2024 issued by the Government in this regard.

The Contractor must Provide or supply required tools and plants such as Spade, Pic axe, peg, sickle etc. to the deployed road Conductors as and when required to perform his duties, No additional payment will be paid by the Public Works Department in this regard.

Contractor Shall comply with the Environment Protection Act 1986 and the Rules made there under.

Contractors are responsible for ensuring Safety and also whole & Sole responsibility for any injury or risk factors of workers.
