S&F in replacement of Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified.

Taking out old GI/aluminium/copper earth strip or relaying/ refixing the same existing strip with fastners of any size and type in any height and any location as directed by Engineer In charge.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on and including "V" type porcelain insulator, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, roof conductors and bracing to down conductors above ground etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators to be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip)

S&F for Test Point junction box of suitable size made of 3.00mm thick CRCA sheet, with terminal block, IP 66 weather proof including four hexagonal anticorrisove screws for out door installation including provn of Test points as per IS specifications of shape and size 75x75x25 mm drilled and screwed incl 3 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw, made out of phospher bronze mounted and fixed on box with suitable grouting arrangements Suitable nut bolts, washers of various size as approved, complete duly fixed with ground/earth/roof conductor rigidly .

Taking out old unserviceable GI/Copper earth plate/Chemical electrode from soft and hard soil from any location as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

Material & labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 3.0 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.4 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3.00 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation for earth pit in hard dense soil, rocky / disintergate rock, filling charcoal and salt all around the plate upto 15 cm from the edges, in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (4 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) typeC 1, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 450 x 450 x 50 mm with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar, , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 20 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately)

Material & labour for chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 900 mm x 600 mm x 5.00 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 3.0 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.4 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 32 x 6.00 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation for earth pit in hard dense soil, rocky / disintergate rock, filling with marconite PREMIX (min qty 420 Kg) all around the plate upto 15 cm from the edges, in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (4 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) typeC 1, heavy duty polythelene cover, , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 20 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately)

Note for BOQ Srl No 6.00 and 7.00 : (i) Contractor shall use low reisistivity fresh agriculture soil , mixed with Bentonite , (4 bags of 25 Kg each ), for refilling the pit to achive the desired resistance. (ii) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (iii) Necessary cost of repair to plinth protection as per existing specification and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing of joints, bringing argiculture soil from out side defence land and cost of 3 x Bags of bentonite deemed to be included in the item rate. (iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986. (vii) The cost of Copper strip of size 20X3.15 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately. (viii). All the joints in copper strip and connection with Earth Plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by proving brass nut bolt and washer are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (viiii) Cost of brazing / welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (ix) Cost includes removal of excavated soil beyond the MoD land.

All as per BOQ Item No 10.00 here-in-before but of size 1.00m x 0.75m x 0.40m LT bus bar feeder pillar box with canopy but wth 4 Nos of bus bar rated 400 Amps made of Aluminium(HINDALCO) with the following incoming and outgoing accessories :- (A) Incoming MCCB 160 Amps rating, TP ,415 V, AC, 50 HZ, adjustable thermal anf fixed magnetic setting Ics-100 % Icu , service breaking capacity 16 KA --- 01 Nos. (B) Outgoing (b) MCCB 100 Amps rating, FP ,415 V, AC, 50 HZ, adjustable thermal anf fixed magnetic setting Ics-100 % Icu , service breaking capacity 16 KA --- 2 Nos. Note:- (i) All MCCB/MCB should be of approved Make (ii) Drawing of LT panel and make of items shall be get approved from GE before ordering the panel. (iii) Cost of lugs for cable and cable gland etc also included in unit rate of panel. (iv) Rotary handle to be provided for all MCCB for control and operation of MCCB. (Note : DB and switchgear shall be of same make)

Cleaning the vegetation incl grass, bushes, small trees and all vegetation growth complete including digging out roots of bushes around installation/sump/OH tanks/bldgs/valve chambers ncl levelling the surface by removing debries outside of MOD Land as directed.
