REPAIR / MAINT OF WATER PUMPING MAINS OF VARIOUS SIZES AND CONTROL VALVES/CHAMBERS FROM RADIANA PUMP HOUSE TO THAN KA VILLAGE UNDER GE KASAULI

Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide & n.exc 1.5mtr in depth and n. exc. 10sqm on plan for laying pipe in trenches and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old u/s worn out MS/CI/GI pipe line flanged type 150 mm bore including fittings complete with nuts, bolts, washers and gaskets etc and removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- New pipes shall be laid first at spring area and old ones to be taken out later.

Supplying, laying, jointing in replacement and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM-A-106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.11 mm and weight 28.26 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation, Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal locations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising/pumping mains as per site requirement complete all as directed. (iii) Any other expenses including permision from state authorities are included under this item. (iv) New pipes shall be laid first and old ones to be taken out later for smooth functioning of pumping lines. (v) In the case of preparation of new header at pumping installation, all the alternate arrangements for uninterupted pumping shall be made by the contractor at no any additional cost.

Material and labour for MS Flange of ASA-150 standard suitable for 150mm dia bore seamless pipe comprising of inner dia 170.70 mm, outer dia 279.4 mm and thickness 25.00 mm, flange having 8 holes drilled to accomodate bolts of size not less than 19.00mm dia, PCS 241.3 complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of joint for 150 mm nominal bore pipes, comprising one 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket, including 8 Nos M38 nuts and bolts (each bolt not less than 25 mm in diameter and 125 mm in length), and 2 Nos. 5 mm thick washers per joint, suitable for pipes/fittings/bends, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply And Fixing in replacement of Air release valve DI Single Chamber, Tripple Action with SS floating And working parts & Fb Expoxy coating in PN1.6 of size 150mm conforming to IS 14845 incl 8 Nos 19.05mm dia ,100mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket of required size and shape complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing in replacement and testing of Tees, suitable length and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.2 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
