Note : Rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include necessary scaffolding etc.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include cost of necessary scaffolding.

Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:3), on ceiling, finished even smooth without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), using water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, on brick/concrete surfaces of walls, finished even fair , complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing factory made Solid PVC Moulded Door Shutter with particle board core, 28 to 30mm thick (stiles), with 2, 4, or 6 raised panel design with Prelam PVC Sheet on the front face & 2mm prelam PVC Sheet on back face , supplying & fixing in frame at site as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing factory made 2nd class hardwood, glazed and skeleton shutters, 35mm thick open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. (without sash bars), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded. fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc.; sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a); supplied and fitted to chowkats, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Wire cloth shall be mesured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with M.S. Square tube, as per specification & drawing in SSR Part-II, in opening, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in the frame at site, factory made solid PVC panel door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails, M.S. frame covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, as per specification & drawing in SSR Part-II, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for including removal of debries out of defence land complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 75mm thick Plain cement concrete (1:3:6), Type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, finished the surface even and fair, complete all as specified.

Material and labour for 25 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in floor, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed..

Material and labour for 20mm thick Granite black/brown in colour (of any type), (table rubbed and polished), machine cut, as on cooking platforms, window cills, steps and like, set in neat grey cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm, laid over and including 15mm thick bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4), including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 20 mm thick Granite black/brown in colour (of any type), (table rubbed and polished), machine cut, set in neat grey cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm, in skirting/ dado laid over cement plaster in CM 1:4 , 10 mm thick and jointed with grey cement slurry, and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding, moulding and polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, as in chajjas, fins, louvers, roof projections, beam and lintel after removing loose concrete and preparation of roof surfaces by application of de-rusting chemical such as Dr fixit rust remover or equivalent and welding additional main bars/ distribution bars if found necessary by inserting to adequate depth in beam by drilling, pinning reinforcement old bars/new with including necessary sacafolding and form work as required upto the height 3.5 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Rates shall be deemed to include the cost for necessary scafolding etc. 2. Reinforcement will measured and paid separately. 3. Nitozinc primer (FOSROC or equivalent) @ 200ml per Sqm surface area of concrete will be paid in saparate item.

Material and labour for formwork for flat fair finished surfaces of concrete to sides and soffits of lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc also splay between floors and beam, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Waterproofing expansion joint tape, Providing and laying Thermoplastic Elastomer tape 1mm x 200 mm, a modified flexible TPE based root resistant membrane with chemical resistance. The tape system must be having tensile strength > 5 N/Sqmm according to ASTM D 412; tear strength > 25 N/Sqmm according to ASTM D 624; elongation > 400 % according to ASTM D 412; chemical resistant; passing low temperature foldability test at -40°C according to ASTM C 1305; passing artificial weathering test according to ASTM G 154. The tape must be capable of withstanding a wide range of temperature of -40°C to +80°C. The tape, adhesive and repair mortar must be provided by same manufacturer for full compatibility. The same shall be applied using epoxy adhesive of layer 2mm to prepared base both sides of joint so both sides of the tape shall be embeded into the adhsive on a width of 38mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Cleaning and preparation of roof (RCC/Brick tiles/Cement concrete) surfaces and made free of dirt, foreign particles, laitance, followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated. Thereafter, inspection for cracks on the surface caused by thermal expansion/contraction, and repairing the cracks after making “V” groove with suitable cutter machine, filled with Repair Morter/General Purpose Grout in the proportions as recommended by manufacturer, supplying and applying High performance Hybrid Polyurea waterproofing coating spray/hand applied liquid membrane with following specifications: (a) Elongation of range 400%-600% (b) Tensile strength of 8-12 N/mm2 (c) Crack bridging ability of 3.00- 4.00 mm (d) Hardness (Shore’A’, ASTM D2240) of range 50-70 The application shall include final base preparation, epoxy primer application in rato 1:1 (resin:hardner) with 100% water dilution and application of Hybrid ployurea in two coats in 6 hrs interval to achieve total min thickness 1 to 1.50 mm. The application/treatment shall be carried out by authorised rep of approved specialist firm/manufacturer. Make- SIKA/FOSROC/Asian Paints/Berger. Note:- The defect liability period of water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including sunken floors shall be 10 years and the contractor shall be responsible to keep the entire building(s) free from leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years after certified date of completion. The contractor may obtain a similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged by him for the purpose.

All as per Srl item No 1.68 here-in-before but on vertical surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of lime concrete/lean concrete/brick bats from sunken portion exc. 15cm thickness (above ground level) including removal of rubbish out side of MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Water proofing treatment to sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying coating of cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as approved inTechnical instruction 5/ 2003 as detailed hereunder:- (a) Applying 15 mm thick plaster (1:4) in cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall, finishing the surfaces even and smooth wiithout using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (b) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates including integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, as in padding in sunken portion of floor slab, coving to junction of floor and vertical walls, including chamfering on edges, finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Supply only integral water proofing compound will be measured and paid for separately.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) above ground floor and removal of debris outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for roughening surfaces of old concrete slab by picking/wire brush, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. and brushing neat cement slurry @ 3.00 Kg/Sqm on roof surface, and removal of rubbish outside defence land complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in padding on roof, in required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair to receive tiles/ APP membrane, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Cleaning and preparation of roof/junction/crumple joints surfaces of RCC/Bricks tiles/Cement concrete and made free from dirt, foreign particles, laitance, followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated. Thereafter, inspection for cracks on the surfaces caused by thermal expansion/ contraciton at junction/crumple joint. Cutting the "V" grooves with suitable cutter machine and filling with Repair Mortar/General Purpose Grout in the proportions as recommended by manufacturer, as per the requirement, making of gollas at all perimeter/corners/ crumple joints with Polymer Modified Mortar ( Cement : Sand 1:4 with 5% Acylic polymer by weight of cement), complete all as specified and directed. Make- SIKA/FOSROC/Asian Paints/Berger.

INTERNAL ELECRIFICATION WORK

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including GI earth wire on batten or in PVC conduit or in MS Conduit including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, fan regulators, sockets etc, removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody for reuse or for credit (credit for above items shall be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surface of walls, floors, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down defective main switches distribution board iron clad or sheet metal of any size and capacity including wooden board & MCBs,meters etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for point wiring with single core multi stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed FRLS colour code cable of 1100 volts grade drawn through and including non metalic rigid PVC conduit medium duty of suitable size with all standard fittings such as Tee junction, bends etc, concealed in wall/fixed on ceiling including boxes with and including cover plate for housing modular switches, sockets, fan regulators etc, including 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) multi stranded copper conductor PVC insulated unsheathed FRLS colour code cable of 1100 volts grade for earth continuity, as for one light/exhaust fan/bell point or fan point (through regulator), controlled by one switch, complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) : (i) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include cutting chases for concealing conduit and making good in cement mortar (1:4) or PCC (1:2:4) as required. (ii). Switches and fan regulator etc., shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement MCBs Distribution board sheet metal enclosures, SPN 240 Volts, 08 ways with 200 amps rated bus bar, double door, with IP 43 protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement sheet metal enclosure DB for Incoming MCCB, TPN 415 volt 4 way with 200 Amp bus bar with IP43 protection and outgoing MCBs factory made double door, with 200 Amp bus bar, including provision of MCCB four pole 100 Amps 16 KA with adustable thermal and magnetic release as incoming, complete in all aspects all as specified and directed . Note:- Outgoing MCBs shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. DB shall be flush mounted in the wall and unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost for the same alongwith making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing surfaces.

Cutting hole and making suitable opening in wall for fixing exhaust fan including making good to match the existing surfaces shall be deemed included in the quoted rate of item. 2. Old retrieved exhaust fan shall be deposited in MES store.

Supply and fixing in replacement LED street light fitting 35 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection including connecting up with twin twisted flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron wire 4mm dia (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe medium grade 15mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete including dismantling of existing earthing all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI wire 4 mm dia and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Supply and fixing PVC non metallic rigid concealed conduit 40 mm exclusive of boxes (junction/ terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc, including cutting chases/holes etc as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing electronic meters temper proof LCD display with polycarbonate cover 230 V, 10- 60Amp, accuracy class-I 50Hz, conforming to IS 13779, IP-54, with parameters to show data, time, current reading, load, PF, voltage and KWH , complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORK

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Low Tension (LT) XLPE insulated, galvanized steel strip armoured, heavy duty, electric power cable, cross sectional area 35 Sqmm 3.5 core aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade underground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover/bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80 mm thick before laying of cable and 150 mm thick (punned down to 100 mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Material and labour, locally available, sub class `B’ bricks (old size), laid flat and dry perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, in trenches over the cable for protection, complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY WORK

Supply and fixing galvanized steel water tubes 20 mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, laid in trenches, in floor/ under road, including taking up or down existing steel water tubing and connections and removing from site to store for reuse or credit, including taking down standard fittings, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for seperately.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel water tubes 25 mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, laid in trenches, in floor/ under road, including taking up or down existing steel water tubing and connections and removing from site to store for reuse or credit, including taking down standard fittings, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for seperately.

Supply and fixing Gun-metal globe or gate valves, half turn, screwed down, high pressure,heavy duty, ISI marked , with MS handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions of 25 mm bore, including taking down old & removal, complete all as specified and directed.

COMMON ITEMS FOR EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY WORK

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables, pipes, foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after pipes have been laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil surplus soil to a distance n.exe 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level n. exe 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs. 1,12,136.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
