REPAIR/MAINT OF DG SETS, AMF PANELS AND CONNECTED SWITCH GEAR SYSTEM AT ARMY AREA UNDER GE AVADI

M&L for carrying out "B" check for 100 KVA to 250 KVA DGset [Make: Kirloskar Cummins] as per manufacturer's recommendation including replacement of necessary spares and Filters such as Fuel filter, Air Filter, SLO Bypass filter and lub oil filter complete including rectification of minor defects and accessories like nuts, bolts, 'O' rings etc, cleaning of radiator & coolant tank with air blower, drain out old engine oil and coolant then replace with new Engine oil as per grade & coolant and tuning of engine all as specified and directed.

M&L for carrying out "B" check for 30 KVA to 100 KVA DG set [Make: Kirloskar Cummins] as per manufacturer's recommendation including replacement of necessary spares and Filters such as Fuel filter, Air Filter, SLO Bypass filter and lub oil filter complete including rectification of minor defects and accessories like nuts, bolts, 'O' rings etc, cleaning of radiator & coolant tank with air blower, drain out old engine oil and coolant then replace with new Engine oil as per grade & coolant and tuning of engine all as specified and directed .

M&L for carrying out "B" check for 10 KVA to 30 KVA DG set [Make: Kirloskar Cummins] as per manufacturer's recommendation including replacement of necessary spares and Filters such as Fuel filter, Air Filter, SLO Bypass filter and lub oil filter complete including rectification of minor defects and accessories like nuts, bolts, 'O' rings etc, cleaning of radiator & coolant tank with air blower, drain out old engine oil and coolant then replace with new Engine oil as per grade & coolant and tuning of engine all as specified and directed . Note for item no 1 to 3 :- (i) New spare parts and engine oil/ Coolant as required shall be included in the quoted rates No extra amount will be paid to the contractor. (ii) Labour charges for replacement of old engine oil and old defective spare parts shall be deemed included in quoted rates. (iii) Cost of routine lubrication/ greasing to spare parts, lubricants/grease, tightening of nut, bolts and washers etc. shall deemed included in quoted rates. (iv) Cost of fixing and transportation of all components/ spare parts required being repair, of DG sets from site to workshop for repair and workshop to site after repair shall be deemed included in quoted rates. (v) Periodical routine maintenance/ checkup of diesel generator sets shall be carried out as per TI-04 of 1984 and maintenance record, prepared/ maintained by contractor and signed by concerned JE E/M, Engineer-In-Charge and Contractor. This maintenance record shall be handover to JE before completion. (vi) Periodical routine maintenance/ checkup of diesel generator sets shall be carried out as per following periodicity: a) Stage-I (Monthly): (i) Cleaning of air cleaner/ filter. (ii) Changing of lubricants and oil filter elements. (iii) Cleaning of fuel tanks and cleaning of fuel filter elements. (iv) Cleaning of radiator cooling fins and top up of coolant. v) Cleaning of line cylinder head fins, in case of air cooled engines. (vi) Checking of all electrical instruments/indicating or any other gauge i.e. frequency meter,voltmeter, ammeter, revolution meter, Hrs run meter, water temp gauge, fuel gauge etc for satisfactory functioning. (b) Stage-II (Quarterly): (i) Changing of engine oil, if required, and clean the pre-cleaner bowl. (ii) Check/ open radiator fins, and clean, if chocked/ blocked. (iii) Check button filter in banjo bolt of feed pump. (iv) Drain the water from water separator, if provided. (v) Check all external fasteners as per specified torques. (vi) battery lead connections. (vii) Check belt alignment and belt condition. (viii) Check turbo changer. (ix) Leakage in air take/ exhaust of exhaust piping (x) Lubrication to the turbo charger,Oil filter. xi. Service will only be carried out only by authorised Rep from Kirloskar/Mahindra/ Ashoka/ CG/ Cummins etc only. Local Service Engineer will not be accepted without authorisaton from any manufacturer.

M&L for attending any sudden electrical/ mechanical breakdown in DG set at avadi area with one engineer and one labour and rectified the fault and make DG Set serviceable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Complaint will be handover to contractor through telephone and contractor deploy his staff within 4 hrs. (ii) Spare reqd to make DG functional will be paid seperately.

Dismantling fuel sump of following capacity DG sets,draining out of fuel , cleaning, removing sediments / foregin particles from the complete fuel circulation system , refilling / replacing the oil as directed , refixing , including replacing fuel sump gasket, level gauge and testing all as specified and directed. (a) 40 KVA to 160 KVA capacity

(b) Upto 40 KVA capacity

Dismantling of Fuel injection pump assembly complete , from the engine of following capacity DG sets , overhauling / servicing, replacements of fuel injector valves,washers etc.assemling, calibration, setting for proper function , refixing and testing all as specified and directed. (a) 40 KVA to 160 KVA capacity

(b) Upto 40 KVA capacity

Dismantling radiator assembly from the engine of following capacity DG sets , by disconnecting inlet and outlet connections overhauling / servicing the radiator , arresting leakages, assembling back including necessery welding/bracing as required , refixing , reconnecting and testing for proper functioning all as specified and directed. (a) 40 KVA to 160 KVA capacity

(b) Upto 40 KVA capacity
