Dismantling of existing bituminous layer on road by cold milling 210mm thickness in full width from Km.76150 to 85000 excluding deck slab of bridge and 55mm thick in deck slab and planning the surface after cold milling, transportation to the hot mix plant site, hauling, stock pilling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evalyation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in batch type hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause No. 519 of MORT&H-2013 . Note:- The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of the theoretical volume, The reclaimed material shall be use 30% of total qty of DBM as per clause no 519 of MORT&H specification. Reclaimed material use for DBM shall be issued free of cost and balance left out material shall be property of the contractor & shall be issued as per issued rate/recovery items.

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. (NS)

Dismantling of road 150mm thick including soling and wearing coat, screening and stacking of old serviceable material, complete in all respect (HSR 24.37)

Disposed off excavated earth with an all lead lift and complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing and laying 300/375 mm thick granular sub base (in three layer of 125/100mm each) consisting of drainage-cum-filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying150mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. Providing & laying 75mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing, laying 250mm thick (125+125mm )spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.406. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade - I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 90 mm Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam in one layers with the use of reclaimed excavated material from cold milling of existing bituminous layers to the extent up to 30 percent (30%) of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh coarse/ fine aggregates and bitumen of VG-30 grade to have overall minimum 4.00% bitumen content and including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangment for use of RAP, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519 of MORT&H specification 5th revision-2013. If bitumen required is more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade CRMB - 55 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade meeting the requirements given in table 500-39, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spicing of 10cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature if surface not less than 100°C protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specification 2013.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Dismantling of existing kerbs including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or desired by Engineer (NS)

Relaying old CC kerbs including transportation from road side where stacked excluding cost of CC kerbs and complete in all respect as per specifications (NS).

Precast cement concrete 1: 1 ½: 3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in Kerbs and the like items, finished smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on exposed surface including from work, placing and fixing in position, complete at the ground level or in first storey Extra over Item Nos. 10.79 to 10.94, if 1:1 ½:3 mix is used, instead of 1:2:4. {HSR 10.77 + 10.95(a)}

Providing and laying 80 mm thick ISI marked internlocing paver blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006 /IRC:SP:63-2004 of all Shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 10.159).

Cement Concrete 1: 1 ½: 3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.42)

Providing and laying of a reinforced cement concrete pipe duct, 300 mm dia, across the road ( new construction ) , extending from drain to drain in cuts and toe of slope to toe of slope in fills, construction head walls at both ends, providing a minimum fill of granular material over top and sides of RCC pipes as per IRC : 98-1997, bedded on a 0.3m thick layer of granular material free of rock pieces, outer to outer distance of pipe atleast half dia of pipe subject to minimum 450 mm in case of double and triple row ducts, joints to be made leak proof, invert level of duct to be above higher than ground level to prevent entry of water and dirt, all as per IRC : 98-1997 and approved drawings

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and side of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15cm layers with compaction including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres [HSR 6.6]

Precast chequered tiles ISI marked of 20 mm thickness in ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treads of steps and landings.(HSR 14.45+Note) on footpath

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (HSR 16.24)

Painting two coats with ready-mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls.(HSR 16.26)

Making and filling expansion joints, with bituminous filler (bitumen 40 percent, asbestos 5 percent and sand 55 percent), 12 mm wide (HSR 24.34)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 village board of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing and painting. {HSR 10.130 + 16.76 (b)}

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminum composite panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminum on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB medium class 4mm thick embedded M-20 grade concrete foundation of size 450mmx450mmx600mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 900mm Equilateral Triangle.

Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides. (of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure (MS Pipe should be of TATA/Sail/Jindal/RINL make only) complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including painting with red oxide primer and first quality synthetic enamel paint, construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing & fixing STEEL BAR EMBEDDED PLASTIC STEPS OF SIZE 263MM X 165MM of orange colour, confirming to specification in pump chambers, manholes etc., having minimum 3mm thick Polypropylene polymer confirming to IS:10910 encapsulated on 12mm dia ribbed steel bars per IS:1786 The rate include cost of setting the same to correct lines and levels duly embedded in 1:2:4 cement concrete including carriage, loading, uploading, stacking, handling, re-handling etc., complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (HSR 29.28)

Providing and fixing SFRCMANHOLE COVERS AND FRAMES MARKED WITH IS:12592 including setting the same to correct lines and levels in 1:3 cement sand mortar oner manhole including carriage loading unloading stacking handling re-handling etc. complete in all respects to the satisfaction to the Engineer-in-charge. (HSR 29.94)

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of brick on end edging have been have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency However, the reserve price is as under :- i) Stone matel @ 671 /- cum.

ii) Bituminous mix material @ 1273/- P. cum

Note:-i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR , items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-Schedule item depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that NS item as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
