Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Maintenance free Chemical earth station as per latest RDSO/BSNL approved specifications and Brand consisting of: - (a) Copper bonded steel Earth Electrode of minimum 3000mm long and 17 mm.(Nominal dia.) (minimum 250 microns Copper Cladding) and UL listed and marked→01 No. (b) Soil Improvement material /Earth enhancing compound minimum 30-35 Kg. of supplied in sealed bags . (c) Providing & weld (Exothermic) a Copper bus bar of minimum size 6mmx 25mmx 150mm on top of earth electrode. (d) Providing inspection chamber /enclosure with cover having locking arrangement for each earth station, excavation, refilling and testing etc as required as per detailed specifications attached.

Earthing with GI earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Manual excavation of hard rock for Chemical earthing (This item to be executed only after approval of Engineer in Charge This is in addition to the excavation charges included in the item for chemical Earthing for normal soil) i/c backfill of the pit with good quality of soil etc as required

Providing & Fixing Copper Main Equi-potential earth busbar (MEEB) of minimum size 300mmx 50mmx 5mm fixing on wall with two no. suitable insulator i/c suitable size nut bolt, spring washer and marking & sign writing as per the direction of Engineer- in- charge etc complete as required at site.

Supplying and laying of PVC insulated multistranded 35 sqmm copper cable as (1+1 configuration) as per IS: 694 (Duplicated) with suitable size of copper lugs, 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer & making end termination at MEEB & Copper Bus bar welded at earth electrode. (Note: -Measurement shall be done on single run basis)

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm GI strip in 40 mm. dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc. as required.

Supplying & laying of 32 mmx 6 mm GI strip at 0.5 mtrs below ground as strip earth electrode, i/c connection / terminating with nut bolt, spring washer etc. as required (jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of GI nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)the interconnection conductor shall also cover with approx. 10 Kg of earth enhancing compound for each 10 meter length) if required

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Testing of the existing earthing system installed at the BTS or Exchange site including watering the existing earthing system with salt from the available watering source at site, arranging the earth testing meter, necessary skilled work force to complete the job and preparing a testing report for tested results as per the instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge etc. complete as required. (Note: -This item will be paid if only earth measurement is done and no work of earthing is executed at site).

Repairing / Treatment and Minor Reconditioning of earthing system after survey and making good loose joints, connecting disjointed joints, providing missing nut, bolts, spring, washer, and strip upto 500 mm in length, making cover plate watering pipe good, watering etc. complete to bring the earth resistance within 1 ohm.

Supplying & Fixing of following way, Single Pole & Neutral, sheet steel, MCB distribution board, 240 V, on surface/ recess, complete with tinned copper bus bar, din bar, interconnections, powder painted including earthing etc. as required.(but without MCB/isolator)
