PAVEMENT WORK Clearing and grubbing road land Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the subgrade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1) GSB grade III Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. Material : 9.5 mm to 4.75 mm @ 35 per cent = 0.447 cum, 4.75 mm to 2.36 mm @ 12.5 per cent = 0.160 cum, 2.36 mm below @ 52.5 per cent = 0.672 cum, Water = 0.100 kilolitre.

Panelled cement concrete pavement (500mm X 500mm) Construction of panel concrete pavement 125mm thick with M30 grade concrete over a properly prepared and cambered sub base having CBR value not less than 20 with 43 grade cement (OPC) or any other type as per clause 1501.2.4 of specification for rural roads. coars and fine aggregates conforming to IRC 44 &IS 383 alongwith cement are to be mixed in a concrete mixer having capacity not less than 0.2 cum and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design as per IRC44-2088.Concrete preferably having a slump of about 70 to 80mm with use of approved plastcizer if required shall be laid in approved fixed side form work (steel channel ,laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene sheet over the sub base layer wedges steel plants including leveling the formwork) spreading the concrete with shovels,rakes, compacted using needle/screwed/plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision construction joints using bonding agents and expansion joints applying debonding strips ,primer,sealant,dowelbars,near approaches to bridge and culverts complete . surface of the pavement should paneled of size 500mmx500mm having a distinct groove of about 3mm wide and/or 1/3rd the depth of concrete using diamond saw immediately on the next day morning of the previous days casting of M30 grade concrete including lighting,guarding,barricating etc. complete. after cutting the grooves the concrete should be well cured for at least 14 days for achieving proper strength as per direction of Engineering in charge. if required casting of pavement may be taken up in appropriate width of the carriageway in phases to allow uninterrupted movement of padestrians and light vehicular traffic. ROAD SAFETY WORK Retro-reflectorised Traffic Signs (1) Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary. mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801

ROAD FURNITURE PMGSY informatory sign board Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm * 450mm * 600mm 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Construction of 200 Metre Stone (Precast) Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade 200 metre stone with local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 of specification of rural roads.

DRAINAGE WORK Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material.

Providing plain/reinforced cement concrete in open foundation with or without reinforcements in any part of foundation with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates(sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement as necessary, mixing in concrete mixer of suitable capacity and cost of curing with water, including preparation of design mix approved of the same by the Engineer in charge , cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of form work but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision).
