TERM CONTRACT FOR ARTIFICERS WORKS AT INHS PATANJALI NCHC, AND SITE E, NAVAL BASE, KARWAR

To perform under Term Contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred to in the "MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part-I, 2009 Specification and MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part II, 2020 Rates together with errata/ amendments as applicable and upon the condition contained in tender documents, as may be demanded, and as are enumerated in the aforesaid Standard Schedule of Rates during the period of one year from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES Standard Schdule of Rates or at such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of "General conditions of contacts (IAFW-2249)" 1989 print with errata / amendments as applicable. Note : (i) Tenderer shall insert percentage rate at 'F' column of this BOQ Excel sheet. (ii) Tenderer shall refer and select the option Excess (+) or less (-) available at the 'E' column of this BOQ Excel sheet to quote the percentage above/below MES Standard Schedule of Rates.

(iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rate column and the total amount reflected in this page is a rough guidence and for reference only. Similiarly the quoted amount worked out (based on percentage rate quoted by contractor) shall also be treated as rough and for reference only. The acceptance of contractor's offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES Standard Schedule of Rates. The work orders for various works/services shall be placed for amount worked out/priced on the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates Par II duly adjusted by Percentage rate quouted by contractor. (iv) Contractor's special attention is invited to condition "4 (A) WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE OBLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)' AND condtion "56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)" of General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)" The providion of these conditions of "General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)" are strictly to be followed.

(v) It is an expressed condition of this contract that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extant irrespective of the amount worked out/ mentioned inthis BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/ services at the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part II, 2020 duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done at site.
