Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of diesel engine driven factory assembled, silent type diesel generating set of capacity 20 KVA (16 KW) or nearest higher capacity at 0.8 power factor, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 415 Volts 1500 RPM complete with safety contact and metering equipment mounted on common base frame mounted on PCC plateform with anti-vibration pads as recommended by manufacturer including AMF panel of suitable capacity from DG set manufacturer's with all fixing arrangement complete all as specified and as directed comprising of the following accessories:- (A) PRIME MOVER:- Prime mover directly coupled with water cooled engine suitable rated matching BHP for driving 20 KVA (16 KW) capacity alternator, 1500 RPM electric-start four stroke diesel engine confirming to ISO- 3046/BS-5514 for continuous running and capable for taking 10% over load for one hour for every 12 hours with the following accessories:- (i) Heavy duty radiator (ii) Radiator fan and fan drive (iii) Fly wheel with housing (iv) Thermostat controlled cooling system (v) Cooling water centrifugal / gear type pump (vi) One Number silencer (residential type) (vii) Rotary fuel injection pump (viii) Spin on type fuel filter (ix) Fuel pre filter (x) Lubrication oil pump with coolant (xi) Spin on type lubrication oil fuel filter (xii) Standard air cleaner with replacement paper element

(xiii) PT pump / FIP with Mechanical Governor (xiv) Exhaust manifold (xv) 12 volt electrical system with engine starter motor and battery charging alternator. (xvi) Safety switches for high water temperature low lubrication oil pressure and engine over speed. (xvii) 12 volt stop solenoid energized to run. (xviii) User hand book (xix) Maintenance free battery of appropriate AH value as per OEM recommendations -01 no. 12 V alongwith battery lead copper and connector (xx) Battery mounting rack as per OEM recommendations --01 No (xxi) Daily services fuel tank suitable for full load running of DG set for min 8 hours enclosed within the canopy all as per CPCB norms with level indicator inlet, fuel outlet, drain plug, air vent and locking arrangement etc including fuel pipe connections with connected GI pipe medium grade connector from fuel tank to the DG set and over flow from the DG set to fuel tank complete with gun metal gate valve. (xxii) Standard safety device & self starter 12V DC. (xxiii) Heavy duty base frame of sturdy design made of MS stud with necessary reinforcement and lifting arrangements (xxiv) Set of specially designed AVM pads between the engine alternator feet and the base frame. (xxv) Exhaust system shall be provided with thermal insulator by using fire retardant / non igniting foam conforming to ISO 3046/BS-5514 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. (iv) Screw Driver 300mm long – 01 No (v) Screw Driver 100mm long – 01 No (vi) Ring spanner set 6 mm to 32 mm -01 set (vii) Allen key set -1 Set (1.5mm to 10 mm) (viii) Cell tester -01 No (ix) Hydrometer -01 No (C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : - Floor mounted acoustic enclosure (canopy) suitable for 20 KVA DG set as per CPCB norms of DG set to be provided with following provisions/ specification :- (i) The enclosure fabricated out of 1.2 mm CRCA sheet suitable to accommodate the DG set properly. (ii) The sheet metal components are hot dip seven tank pretreated. (iii) It is purepolyster based powder coated (inside as well as outside ). All nuts /bolts/hardware are zinc coated with salt spray test as per ASTMB-117 (iv) Battery is accommodated in a tray in the enclosure (v) The doors are fitted with gasket with high quality EPON gasketed to avoid leakage of sound. (vi) Sound proofing of enclosure done with high density fire retardant PU foam 50mm thickness of density 32 Kg / Cum in accoustic enclosure. (vii) Special residential silencer is provided within enclosure to control exhaust noise. (viii) Specially designed alternators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exhaust from container. (ix) Adequate ventilation is provided to meet requirement for combustion and heat removal. If required a blower is used to meet total air requirement and air changes. (x) Temperature of enclosure does not exceed beyond 50 degree C of ambient temperature. (xi) The enclosure is providedwith high enclosure temperature safety device.

(xii) There is provision of emergency shut down from outside the enclosure. (xiii) There is arrangement of proper illumination inside the canopy. (xiv) Noise level is 75 DB (A) at 1 mtr distance. (xv) Approved by CPCB. (D) ALTERNATOR :- Alternator 20 KVA (16 KW) at 0.8 power factor self regulated, three phase, 4 wire system with neutral, 415 volts, 50 Hz 1500 RPM conforming to BS 2613/IS- 4722 complete with automatic voltage regulator. The alternator shall be of self excited self regulated type and foot mounted fitted with ball and or roller bearing including provision for cable connections. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate. The excitation system consists of an electronic automatic regulator having very fast response to load changes. The salient features of alternator are :- (i) (+) or (-) 1% voltage regulation under static conditions (ii) Class H insulation (iii) Permanently lubricating bearing (iv) 10 % over load allowed for one hour for every 12 hour (E) AMF CONTROL PANEL SUITABLE FOR 20 KVA DG SET :- Supply, installation and Testing of Automatic main failure panel mounted inside accoustic enclosure, (Microprocessor Based AMF Controller cum engine control unit with inbuilt timer, counters complete with accessories & relay) internal wiring with copper wire of suitable rating fabricated with 12 SWG sheet & its base frame with powder coated paints and comprising with following :- (1) MCCB & MCBs of suitable rating as per OEMs recommendation. (2) Power Contactors rating as per OEMs recommendation (3) Aluminium bus Bar as per OEMs recommendations - 01 Sets (4) SMPS battery charger -01 No. (5) Bypass Changeover switch - 01 No. Note :- AMF panel shall be mounted inside the acoustic enclosure and shall be installed by OEM of DG set.

Note:- (i) The engine of DG set shall be suitable derated to suit the climatic condition of AF Station Chakeri, Kanpur so as to give desired output including 10% over load. (ii) The quoted rate for DG set is inclusive of PCC foundation. The foundation for DG set should be made with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate below the ground level minimum 300 mm and 200 mm below & above ground level respectively,size of plateform as per manufacturers recommondations including mounting with suitable fastners /nuts/bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) The DG set shall be suitable for auto main failure function (iv) AMF panel should be prefitted by OEM of DG set only. (v) The DHPP (fuel) required for testing of DG sets is deemed to be included in rate quoted under this item. (vi) Phase- I test will carried out by Engineer-in- Charge for no load and 100% load for 1 Hrs each and Phase II test will be carried out in presence of IEM / Representative of Accepting Officer for no load, 25 % 50%, 75%, 100% for 11 hrs and 110% for 1 Hrs over load. (vii) DG set 20 KVA shall be composite type with AMF panel , Prime mover and alternator and allied accessories in one enclosure. Taking down of DG set of 10 KVA capacity incl. AMF Panel from its original location and shifting it to a new location within 3 km distance by engaging sufficient manpower and machinery for safe loading, hoisting, transportation and unloading without any damage and fixing it to a new platform with 4 mm GI wire mesh over platform incl. necessary connections complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bidders must take note of the fact that any damages occuring to DG set due to shifting work shall be rectified and borne by the contractor without any cost to the department.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, coping including finished all exposed surfaces of concrete including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating including necessary form work filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base floor with finishing concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix sheet metal enclosure TPN 4 way DB, 415 V with bus bar double door type IP-43 for DB when MCB 63 Amps (Incomer) to be used, fixed properly on / in concealed position and to provide required size of flexible conduit at open surfaces near DBs for cables / wires all as directed. Supply and fix sheet metal enclosure SPN 8 way DB, 240 V with bus bar double door type IP-43 for DB when MCB 32 Amps (Incomer) to be used, fixed properly on / in concealed position and to provide required size of flexible conduit at open surfaces near DBs for cables / wires all as directed. Make : Havells / Schneider / Legrand

Supply, laying or passing through pipe / fixed on wall with clamp,and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 16 sq mm 4 core including suitable size and no of lugs, thimbles, GI nuts and bolts,washers, insulation tape etc, connections and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The end termination and connecting of cable by crimping as directed shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Supply and fixing SPN of rating 6-40 Amps, 240 V in Distribution box having C-curve characteristics complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sub main wiring with four run of single core PVC- FRLS insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable of size 4 sqmm drawn in PVC caping and casing with two run of single core PVC- FRLS insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable of size 4 sqmm as continuous earth wire drawn in PVC caping and casing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Four run of single core cable and two run of earth conductor incl. PVC casing and caping will be measured and paid as one unit.

M&L for providing new earthing for bldg complete with galvanised GI steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm with G I earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm and earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge earth of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr below normal ground level connected to G I strip (32 x 6 mm ) from earth plate to test point by means of MS bolts, nuts, check nuts including char coal dust, common salt, funnel with wire-mesh, 20 mm dia light grade GI pipe for watering and 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of GI strip and excavation / earth work with PCC pit 1 : 3 : 6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate and RCC cover of 40 mm thick with 1 : 2 : 4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm dia mild steel round bar 75 mm C/C both way with two Nos 12 mm dia MS handle complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, the rates includes testing charges complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth GI strip, GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 m shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for GI strip 32 x 6 mm for extension of earth and connected to equipment or panel etc. buried in ground/drawn in conduit/pipe/duct or fixed to poles/wall etc with and including bolts, nuts, washers etc. complete for loop earthing all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) surrounded with alternate layer of charcoal and salt as directed with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by meas of bolts, nuts, chck nuts and washers of galvnised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including earthing pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-0 & 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT Bar @ 75 mm C/C bothy ways with 02 Nos lifting handles of 12 mm dia MS plain bar, GI protection pipe 20 mm dia light grade with funnels & wire mesh for watering and 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe for earth lead protection etc including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) GI lead wire and protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr is deemed to be included in the quoated rate. (ii) Earthing required for internal electrification shall also be measured under this item. (iii) GI lead wire and protection pipe beyond 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch 'A'.

Excavation in trenches by mechanical means not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of cable for soft/ loose soil and getting out all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm apart for soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

M & L for dry Ganga Sand cushioning in trenches for protection of cable including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness shall be considerd for measurment purpose

M & L for well burnt brick sub class B old size laying in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of PCC/Hard standing/WBM road not exceeding 30 cm in width & not exceeding 60 cm in depth for passing of LT cable and making good of disturbed surface to match with the existing surfaces by using old and new material upto 15 cm in depth and 15 cm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for making horizontal boring 60 cm deep below road crossing for passing of LT cable in GI pipe all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches / Floor or fixed to Pole / Wall GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore with fitting for protection of cable including dismantling existing pipe complete all as specified and directed. Make : Tata / Jindal / Prakash / Surya
