Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft/loose soil, getting out, removing of vegetation, surplus soil etc to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 15% of the quoted rate of above item shall be "Added or Deducted" for every 3cm or part thereof to arrive the rate of "Surface Excavation" above or below 15cm average depth.
Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in soft/loose soil, getting out, removing of vegetation etc, complete all as specified and directed.
Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation,laying of cable, pipe etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. nexc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for cement concrete in foundation filling and mass concrete type D2 (1:4:8) using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates, complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 08 tonne and not exc 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for 100 mm thick (spread thickness) Soling (or sub base)with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for laying 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers [each layer comprising of 75mm thick (compacted thickness)] with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) (lime stone, sand stone, flint or Quartzite), blinded with screening of hard stone of grading 'A', spread, rolled with power roller 8 to12 tonnes & consolidated to gradient/camber required etc, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Factory made preacast cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20.00mm graded stone aggregates) solid blocks as in kerbs etc, rounded or chamfered on edges and setting in cement mortar (1:6) withjoint to match, including use & waste of form work, complete all as specified and directed.
Scarifying or picking of existing WBM/gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm including removing of debries etc from site to a distance n.exc 50 metres, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for laying 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) (lime stone, sand stone, flint or Quartzite), spread, rolled with power roller 8 to12 tonnes & consolidated to gradient/camber required etc, complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No10 above but except material i.e using servicable materials retrived from item No 9 here-in-before.
M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.70-1.00 kg/sqm on surface of WBM as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for repairs to pot holes, any depth, not exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm , putting in premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete minimum 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5% of binder content of paving bitumen VG - 30 grade by weight of total mix (premixed material prepared in hot mixed plant), pre- mixed material laid with self propelled mechanical paver, finished inlcuding rolling and compacting the surfaces to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and tandom vibrating roller etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (a) Rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) The binder content for the semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete to be provided under the above item shall be worked out on proportionate basis of the design mix formula approved for the SDAC item here-in-before and binder content shall be provided accordingly, contractor shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5%. Any variation in binder content shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 55.00 per Kilogram of binder.
M&L for premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix withself propelled sensor based mechanical paver, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) etc, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 55 per Kg.
M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and tandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes for item No 16 and 17:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.55 per Kg . (iii) The thickeness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further, it is clarified that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope & making good the undulations etc, all as directed by the GE, shall be made.
M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and tandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for thermoplastic road marking paint, white or golden yellow @ 5kg/Sqm, conforming to BS-3262 applied on road/pavement as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, exc 10 cm in width & of thickness not less than 2.5mm, with and including combination of retro-reflective glass beads 250 gm/ Sqm all as per manufacturer's instructions, using special applicator machine etc, complete all as specified & directed.
S&F in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.
S&F in repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed.
