Factory made Solid PVC Door Shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails. MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail. Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed together with solvent cement complete all as specified.

Taking down /Checking of shutters of any size iron/aluminium mongery, pelmet box, door spring etc. requiring joinery/wood work and carrying out minor repairs such as tightening of screws/nails, fixing glass panes, minor adjustment of joinery door etc., including petty repairs material like screws/nails, plug etc to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The quoted rates shall be included the following aspect:- (a) Removing damaged/unserviceable existing builders hard ware and re fixing with new one. Supply only new one of builder hard ware materials shall be measured and paid separately (b) Easing and adjusting the shutter before re-fixing if found required. (c) Finishing the window frame and shutter with two coat of enamel paint. (d) The rate for re-fixing in another building in the same camp is also included.

Note for item No 12 : (a) Replacement of unserviceable builder hard work and pelmet box will be measured and paid for separately.

(b) Any other spare parts which have not covered in the relevant items but are required to make in functional condition are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.

(c) Cost of labour element towards removing of unserviceable spare parts and re-fixing of serviceable spare parts for supply only items here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Supply only spare parts shall be measured and paid separately.

Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal oil emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/grinder, then applying one coat or more coat minimum 1 mm thick of Birla Putty on wall of internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving surface finish all as directed

Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots ect and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.

(a) A guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor on completion of work as specified.

(b) The unit rate quoted for item 36 to 45 of BOQ is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

(c) The defect liability period for the work shall be 05 (Five) years from the certified date of completion of work.

(d) Unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of all material, labors, tools and plants, scaffolding and working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(e) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts. ropes. helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and cost of same is deemed to be inclusive in unit quoted rates.

Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further surface finishes. Please note that the further surface finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the Engineer-in-Charge .

Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weather proof paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damage portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and specifie by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 64 & 65 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case lakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as direct by the manufacturere specification. Factory made UPVC three track sliding Window frame having 2 tracks for glass shutter and 1 track for mosquito sash made of upvc profile section of size 73mm x 42mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Sliding glass shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 55mm x 33mm and sliding wire mesh shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 40mm x 22mm. All section of the frame, sash, transom & mullion, as applicable, shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Clear Glass of Saint Gobain / Modiguard make with thickness of 4mm and stainless steel wire cloth of 0.19mm nominal dia. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. All the corner / mullion / transom joints of the frame and sash shall be mitered cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joining. System shall have adequate drainage mechanism to permit the escape of water from horizontal member beneath each sealed unit. System is to be provided with proper operating & locking hardware mechanism. Window locking system will be either both side push lock system or semi-circle locking system in centre. Complete window shall be fixed in to the existing pre finished aperture, by drilling and fixing through the outer frame using quality fasteners & silicon glue is applied to fill up the crevice between wall and window frame for leak proof installation including taking existing one complete all as specified. Note: - The contractor will have to submit 5 years warranty certificate for upvc profile and 1 year warranty certificate for hardwares.

Factory made UPVC Ventilators design will be like top part fixed with exhaust fan provision and bottom part with fixed louver strips.Ventilators frame made of upvc profile section of size 45mm x 43mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Wherever required /specified, system shall havev the fix mullion of size 45mm x 60mm having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/- 0.2mm). All section of the frame,transom & mullion shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as directed.

Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheetas specified

Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Attending unserviceable/ non functional street light complaints (for street light/perimeter lights/high mast light/flood light etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillers etc) by deploying technically qualified and experinced techinicians to find out defective/taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tap to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed for domestic area of old kalpa colony, new kalpa colony, Mehra colony, MAP qrts, Akash enclave, Gulmohar enclave, Kiran enclave, MES colony, AFWWA, various connecting roads and other facilities such as shoping complex/ various institutes/ messes/ play ground, complete perimeter etc located in complete domestic area and technical area at AF Station Sulur

Note for item No 125 : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

(a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced before commencement of work.

(b) 'Supply only' items to be delivered/ supplied to AGE E/M store yard as per qty asked by Engineer-in-Charge with in one calender month from the date of commencement of contract and these items will be issued from AGE E/M store yard for attending unserviceable/ defective street light complaints.

(c) Contractor or his Authorised Representitive has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very Next day.

(d) A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User alongwith Contractor or his authorised Representitive and Nos. of unserviceable Street/ Security Lights to be entered in a Register for preparing Weekly.

(e) Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generator of suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account.

(f) Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipments to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

(g) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(h) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforceabove as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding.

(j) Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights of DOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA on Daily basis in any Weather Condition at their own arrangement.

(k) Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

(l) Vehicle mounted ladder for maintaining services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

(m) Materials required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s). But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the street lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

(n) Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

(o) All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part.

(p) All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

(q) Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

(r) Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

(s) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(t) Contractor shall provide contact details of his responsible person(s) for any emergency.

(u) Any Materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES STORE YARD without any extra Cost to the Department.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:4:8 (40mm grade aggregate type D2) including necessory form work for pole foundation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

The GUI should also support Google Maps overlay for live status monitoring of panel. Note for item No 202 :- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) After completion of work earthing shall be tsested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab.

(d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.
