GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR PARTITIONS - BOTTOM OF ROOF HT- 9'6" ht. FALSE CEILING HT. CONSIDERED AT 9'0" (NECESSARY CUT OUTS FOR DUCTS, PIPES AND OTHER SERVICES TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE).

Providing and constructing 4½ thick Light weight brick walls in cement mortar 1:4 including curing, steel scaffolding, steel staging, leads and lifts and a concrete band 75mm thick. with 2nos.Tor 8 longitudinal bars and Tor 8 at 200c/c transverse reinforcement. at every fifth course with M15 grade concrete mix including steel shuttering, Scaffolding, steel staging, curing etc., complete, including drilling the column & fixing 200mm long 50 x 4mm thick MS flat bent to shape, with anchor bolts at every fifth course, with all leads and lifts and as directed by Project Consultant/Engineer in charge. The rate is inclusive of cost reinforcement steel and cost of steel fabrication of reinforcement steel with all leads and lifts and as directed by Project Consultant/Engineer in charge.

PRECAST LINTELS

Providing and laying Precast lintels M20 Grade Lintel reinforced cement concrete conforming to grades as specified in (IS 456 - 2000) and as per specifications mentioned below at all levels using 20mm & down size aggregates, including mechanical mixing, shifting of precast lintels , placing at all levels, including the cost of steel reinforcement, centering, shuttering, scaffolding for erecting, compacting with vibrators, curing and hacking the exposed surfaces wherever required to receive plaster or floated steel troweled surface whenever specified.

Providing rough plastering for dado backing in CM 1:6 12mm thick for fixing tiles, granite slabs, marble, at all levels including rough finishing to line and plumb, the cost of scaffolding, curing, lead and lifts etc., complete for walls including scarifying the surface to receive the tiles. Cost to include supplying and Fixing Plaster Mesh/Corner Bead made out of galvanized iron of nominal thickness 0.35mm with a zinc coating of 120 gms / Sqm

INTERNAL WALL PLASTER Prepare the surface and plaster all internal RCC / Masonry surface, walls, etc., in cement mortar 1:5 , 15 mm thick , smooth finished to line and plumb at all levels rounding of corners wherever required complete with necessary scaffolding, curing etc, complete.including lead and lifts hydrating the lime for 24 hours before starting of work.at all levels rounding of corners wherever required complete with necessary scaffolding, curing etc, complete. Cost to include supplying and Fixing Plaster Mesh/Corner Bead made out of galvanized iron of nominal thickness 0.35mm with a zinc coating of 120 gms / Sqm of Arpitha make at the concrete and masonry junctions,Column corners, wall corners, with Galvanised nails etc., wherever called for required size.

FOR TOILET WATER PROOFING Providing, applying & testing waterproofing treatment of the PCC / RCC slabs /masonry surface of toilets comprising of the following methods/stages as per the approved manufacturer specification with providing 10 years guarantee from the vendor.Surface Preperation and Testing to be carried by cleaning, chipping the loose cement mortar, grinding to remove the laitence and cleaning the dust by blower/mop.Hacking the surface to create 3mm to 5mm impressions to enable penetration depth and improved bonding of waterproofing layers. The final surface to be water washed/Waterjet cleaned. Water pounding test to be done for 24 hrs to check the leakage/seepage in the structure

CEILING

Gypsum board ceiling, 12.5MM INDIA GYPSUM BOARD AND GYP STEEL ULTRA FRAME Providing and fixing suspended false ceiling which includes providing and fixing GI perimeter channels of size 0.55 mm. Thk. having one flange of 20 mm and another flange of 30 mm and web of 27 mm along the perimeter of the ceiling, screw fixed to brick wall/ partition with help of nylon sleeves and screws, at 610 mm centers. The suspended GI intermediate channels of size 45 mm,0.9mm thk with two flanges of 15 mm each from the soffit at 1220 mm centers with ceiling angles with ceiling angle of width 25mm x 10mm x 0.55mm thk fixed to soffit with GI cleat and steel expansion fasteners. Ceiling section of 0.55 mm thk having web of 51.5 mm and two flanges of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5mmare then fixed to the intermediate channels with help of connecting clips and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel with centers 12.5 mm tapered edge gypboard (Confirming to IS-2095-1982) is then screw fixed to ceiling section with 25 mm dry wall screws at 230mm centers. Screw fixing is done mechanically either with screw driver or drilling machine with suitable attachment. Finally the boards are to be joined and finished so as to have a flush look which includes finishing the tapered and square edges of the board with joining compound. paper tape and two coats of primer suitable for Gypboard (As per the recommendations / practice of India gypsum). False ceiling rate quoted shall include providing necessary cut-outs for fixing Light fixtures (Inclusive of all sizes), AC diffuser, AC dampers, AC linear grilles for (supply and return air), smoke detectors, speakers etc., as directed by the Architects. Modular false ceiling Classic Lite RH99 - 600x600x16mm bevelled Tegular tile with suprafine XL 15mm frame Providing & Fixing of Armstrong Mineral Fibre Acoustical Suspended Ceiling System with Classic Lite (Bevelled Tegular) Edge Tiles With Armstrong 15mm Exposed GRID. The tiles should have Humidity Resistance (RH) of 99%, NRC 0.55, Light Reflectance ≥87%, Thermal Conductivity k = 0.052 - 0.057 w/m K, Colour White, Fire Performance UK Class 0 / Class 1 (BS 476 pt - 6 &7) in module size of 600 x 600 x 16mm , suitable for Green Building application, with Recycled content of 30%. The tile shall be laid on Armstrong Suprafine 32 with 15 mm wide T - section flanges colour white having rotary stitching on all T sections i.e. the Main Runner, 1200 mm & 600 mm Cross Tees with a web height of 32mm and a load carrying capacity of 7.85 Kgs/M2 & pull out strength of 100kgs.. PLYWOOD PELMET FOR MOTORISED SCREEN AT CONFERENCE ROOM Providing and fixing pelmet made in 18/12mm thick COMM. plywood with necessary aluminum (50 x 25mm 16SWG sections) salwood (50 x 50mm) support framework to enable fixing of blinds, concealed lighting, Motorized &Manual pull down screens along the glazing, above ledge in conference and other area as directed by the Project Consultants. The plywood edges shall have 3/4" x 3/4" teakwood beading as per the detail drawings. All the exposed veneer and wooden surfaces shall be stained to shade as directed by Project Consultants and finished in water based polyurethane coat with approved texture.

FULL HT. GYP PARTITION 76mm thk Gypsteel ultra tm stud partition which includes one layer of taper edge 13mm thk Gyproc r Duraline (conforming to BS:5234-1992-part-2) is screw fixed with dry wall screw of 25mm at 300mm centers to either side of 48mm Gypsteel ultra tm C stud (0.5mm thk having one flange of 34mm and another flange of 36mm made of GL steel) placed at 600mm centre to centre in 50mm Gypsteel ultra tm floor and ceiling channel (0.5mm thk having a equal flange of 32mm made of GL steel ), which is anchored to the floor and true ceiling using suitable anchor fasteners or metal screw with nylon plugs. The boards are to be fixed to the frame work with joint staggered to avoid leakage through joint.A Gyp steel fixing channel of 99mm width (0.9mm thk having two flange of 9.5mm each) has to be provided the horizontal joints of the two boards screw fixed to the stud using metal to metal flat head screw. Duco paint The surface to be painted shall be sanded and prepared to the satisfaction of Architect. Duco putty shall be applied over a coat of primer and thoroughly smoothened using water emery. Two coats of Metallic Duco paint shall be applied using spray gun for an even finish.

SCREED CONCRETE FLOORING For average thickness of 45 to 55 mm. Providing & laying screed concrete of following thickness with power trowelled smooth / Rough as per the instructions of incharge finish screed concrete flooring using M20 Grade Ready Mix / Manual concrete to line and level as per the finalized bull works. The screed concrete floor has to be laid in panels of Maximum size 3 mtrs x 3 mtrs by the alternative bay method. The construction joint shall be cut using diamond bit wheel for a width of 3 to 4mm and a depth of 1/3 of the depth of screed floor within 20 to 30 hours of concreting, no delay shall be acceptable. On curing and drying of the concrete the construction joints have to be filled with elastomeric fillers as per manufactures specification.,.
