Clearing road side/Median open lened/ pucca drains to bring them to original shape, drainage capacity including disposal of sedsiments , extraneous debris and vegetation growth blocking the free flow from site outside ROW with all leads and lifts complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-In- Charge and as per Maintenance Standards Cause No. 3.1 (Frequency of cleaning in urban areas will be quarterly whereas in rural areas, it will be twice in a year i.e. before and after monsoon) a) Drains having depth upto 0.6 meter

Removal of rank vegetation/weeds and undersirablevegetation from shoulders, embnkment slopes upto ROW (both sides) complete in all respects including breaking of clods, rough dressing and disposal of waste material and vegetation at a place outside ROW as poer direction of Engineer-In-Charge and as per maintenance Standards Clause 3.3 (Frequency will be once in a quarter). a) Shoulders including side slopes of embankment upto toe line on both sides of the carriageway. (Frequency of cleaning will be four times in a year, however limited to only areas prone to qrowth of rang undersirable vegetation and weeds).

Scarifying Existing Granular Surface to a Depth of 50 mm by Manual Means (Scarifying the existing granular road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and leads upto 1000 metres. )

Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.) A.By Manual Means (ii) Grading II (c) Using screening Type –B ( mm Agg)

Prime coat (Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate shown in 500-1 using mechanical means.) (iii) High Porosity

Tack coat (Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at required rate on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.) iii) Granular Surface Treated with Primer

Bituminous Macadam (Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction) (ii) for Grading-II (19 mm nominal size)

Bituminous Concrete (Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects) (ii) for Grading –II (13 mm nominal size)

Loading and unloading of stone boulder/stone aggregates/sand/ kanker/moorum. (Placing tipper at loading point, loading with front end loader, dumping, turning for return trip, excluding time for haulage and return trip)
