Provision of Canopy from Terminal Building to exit gate at Diu Airport.

Design Consultancy Work Providing Engineering Consultancy Services for Design of RCC foundation & Ploycarbonate sheet multiwall (Min. 10mm thickness) Canopy including Architectural , Structural & Engineering design specifying Architectural patterns, and related perameter attachments, necessary fittings & hardware including associated structural steel members, RCC foundation, rain water drainage system, supporting member for electrical installation etc. with all relevant calculation sheet, vetting of both design & drawing by any Govt. Engg. college including issue of "Good for Construction drawings" , revision of drawing as per changes during execution & final "As Built Drawing" complete with vetting and not limited to any other details related to consultancy work which are essential for successful execution of work etc. complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer incharge. Note :-(I) The steel structure members has to be designed as per conceptual drawings of Ploycarbonate sheet multiwall profile including all arch beam, curved lateral beams and bracings, vertical support columns, nodal joints, bases of columns and Stainless Steel pin joints as applicable. (II) The payment under this item shall be made in parts in proportion to amount of work. (III) Keeping in view of the security of the airport, desgin & drawing must be finalised in such a way that construction can be completed in minimum time.Before finalization of strcutural design & drawings consultant should explaini it to EiC. After vetting/approval of structural designs & drawing, 3 (Three) sets of Good for constrcution drawings showing all relevant details by consultant shall be submitted to EiC. He shall also submit all sets of drawings in soft copy. In case any clarification/ alteratation is made by the EiC or any Govt. Engg. College, it will be made by the consultant for which nothing will be paid extra. Design must be finalised keeping in veiw of the variuos security norms prevailing at the time of desgining and consultant must be aware of all the security norms. Keeping in view of the security of the airport, design & drawing must be finalised in such a way that construction can be completed in minimum time.

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying old cement cocrete interlocking paver blocks of any design /shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in-charge. (Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost).

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-incharge. All kinds of soil

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. All works upto plinth level. Concrete of M30 grade with minimum cement content of 350 kg /cum.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and for all lift.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights : Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
