SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I Dismantling carefully cracked rigid surface of Runway / Taxi Track / patches by using mechanical cutter like diamond cutter, (average depth 15 mm), sweeping, cleaning with compressed air blower, removal of all loose particles upto a distance exceeding 250m & n.exc 500m and filling with a mix of Epoxy Resin and Epoxy Hardner compound in proportion (2:1), mixed thoroughly with Quartz sand and Silica Powder each in proportion (1.5:4:4) (1.5 Part epoxy mixed with 4 part of quartz sand and 4 part of silica sand) including applying a coat of eEoxy Resin on the finshed top surfaces complete all as per manufacturers instruction and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Make :-(a) Epoxy Resin : Araldite Gy-257 of make Araldite or equivalent product of make M/s Fosroc Chemical (India) Ltd ,M/S Chowksy Chemicals (Mumbai), M/s Pidilite India Ltd /STP Ltd (b) Epoxy Hardner : Aradur-140 of make Araldite or equivalent product of make M/s Fosroc Chemical (India) Ltd ,M/S Chowksy Chemicals (Mumbai), M/s Pidilite India Ltd/STP Ltd)

Add to or deduct from item No 01 above for each 5 mm thickness or part there of above or below 15 mm complete ditto.

Labour only for rectification of defective level difference in between the joints of runway in two adjacent pavents by grinding existing raised slab edges by electrical hand grinder to achieve a true smooth surface in between the two pavements and removal of all dust from runway sufaces complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note: T & P required for this item shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. The unit quoted rate shall deem to be inclusive of the same)

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surface of concrate/flexible pavement like Runway, taxi track, link etc, by removing the greasy materials, dirt, dust etc and applying one coat of water based road marking paint grade-2 conforming to IS 164-1981, of tint white/yellow/golden yellow as approved, as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Paint shall be applied on prepared surfaces of concrete in a manner, so that thick paint shall stand boldly and solidly on the surfaces without showing brush mark on surfaces applied for. Surfaces shall be finished by application of paint till desired result obtained.)

All as per item No. 04 above but on center line and applying one coat of plastic emulsion paint (of white tint)complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm width or girth with one coat of water based road marking paint Grade-2, conforming to IS-164-1981 (tint white/yellow/golden yellow as approved) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted concrete, asbestos cement or plastered surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) on surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and Laying of bituminous emulsion (cationic type) over existing runway and connecting road approaching to main runway (flexible portion) @ 5 Kg of emulsion per 10 square meter with 100 % dilution (diluted quantity 10 Kg) applied in thin layer by using painting brush or by mechanical sprayer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Raking out existing sealing compound from expansion joints of size 20 mm x 30 mm without disturbing filler board, cleaning the joints with compressed air blower , applying primer (suitable for grade ‘B’ sealing compound) and re-sealing the joints with grade ‘B’ sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Raking out existing sealing compound from construction / dummy joints of size 12 mm x 30 mm without disturbing filler board, cleaning the joints with compressed air blower, applying primer (suitable for grade ‘B’ sealing compound) and re-sealing the joints with grade ‘B’ sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for preparation of old treated bituminous /asphaltic surfaces (over-run both ends of Runway) by removing all vegetation, sweeping with brooms and finally clean by fanning with gunny bags to remove all loose dust, dirt and applying one thick coat of white wash by spreading on prepared surfaces thoroughly to stand out boldly, solidly without showing signs of bruss mark on painted surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing DTGM/sign board, rectangular in shape made out of 1mm thick MS plate of size 0.90mx0.80m (approx) fixed to MS hollow pipe of size 45mmx45mm, 02 Nos, of length1.5m above GL and 0.45m below GL embeded in and including PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m including necessary earth work and excavation complete and preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and writting letters/arrows etc of 6 inch height made out of flourscent strip and fixing on each outer face of sheet with approved adhessive including dismantling of existing DTGM board of any size complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing DTGM/sign board, triangular in shape, made out of 1mm thick MS plate of size 0.80m wide and 0.80m height (approx) fixed to MS hollow pipe of size 45mmx45mm, 01 No, of length1.5m above GL and 0.45m below GL embeded in and including PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m including necessary earth work and excavation complete and preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and writting letters/arrows etc of 6 inch height made out of flourscent strip and fixing on each outer face of sheet with approved adhessive including dismantling of existing DTGM board of any size complete all as directed.

S & F in repair flourscent strip for writing letters/arrow etc of size 6 inch height fixed to each outer face of DTGM board with approved adhessive complete all as directed.

M & L for Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
