Note for Item No 11 & 12 :- (a) Fly ash bricks shall be burnt clay flyash building bricks as per IS- 13757.

(b) The rates for work curved or polygonal on plan include for all extra cutting and extra waste in the body of the work. It shall be measured as mean length of wall.

(c) Sinking of steining shall be measured separately under relevent item. Well curbs, tie-rods, etc. shall be measured under the appropriate item.

(d) bricks shall be of class designation 75 (Kgf/cm).

(e) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for all scaffolding, ladders, plant and templates required

(f) Exposed faces of brick work shall be fair.

(g) Exposed faces shall be facing with best bricks

(h) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for Plumbing to angles

(j) Forming reveals to jambs where fair cutting on exposed faces shall not be involved

(k) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for preparing tops and sides of existing walls and the like for raising and extending

(l) Building in vertical seismic reinforcement at the jambs of openings, corners of walls, etc.shall be grouting in cement mortar 1:4

M&L Reinforced precast cement concrete in 1:2:4 type B0 (using12.5mm graded stone aggregate) in Jallies, 45mm thick (measured solid) including all moulding but excluding frame set in CM 1:6 including taking down existing damaged one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4, Type B1 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5 M span, cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets, copings, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately.

M&L High strength corrosion resistant TMTsteel bar of grade Fe-500 , 6 mm dia to 8 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L High strength corrosion resistant TMTsteel bar of grade Fe-500, 5 mm dia to 10 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips in stirrups , spacers and binders etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Dismantling of existing damaged fencing wire mesh, barbed wire etc any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm, cleaning/cutting the grass/ trimming down shurbs/ branches/ small trees with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from fencing post to outside MD land.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil including removal of existing damaged fencing posts and struts with concrete base foundation and coping complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L M S angle iron Posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC 1:4:8, type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement concrete 1:3:6,type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Straining and fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh size and type of to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts and MS flat iron for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Supply only chain link mesh and 10mm dia round bars shall be measured and paid vide relevent item. However, labour aspect for fixing is deemed to be included in this item.

Supply only Chain link mesh, made of galvanised wire and shall confirm to IS 2712.2003 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 including binding wire etc fixed to any type of standards posts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only 10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar (stiches through chain link fencing between post) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repairs Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc complete all as specified and as directed Note :- Each line of wire to be measured.

M&L PCC 1:3:6, type C-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10cm thick (with plain or interlocking joint as directed) setting in cement mortar (1:4), in walls including demolition of existing damaged walls complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces under 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 39 & 40 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

S&F in repairs Galvanised steel punched type concertina coil 1050mm dia (dia of coil with unstreched) and streched for a length of 6RM/ Coil while fixing and fixed to angle iron posts/ supports binded with 3.15mm dia GI wire complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Weight of one coil, with 50 Turns of 1050mm dia and 129 number clips shall not be less than 15.2 Kg.

S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 gradeSt.-240) including dismantling existing one complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted , bolted or welded attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs MS flat iron wind ties for roof including securing bolts including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc. , and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and refixing the same steel gate exc 3.00 but not exc 5.00 sqm in each pane after repair of rusted or damaged portion of the gate including pivot, holdfast, stopper, locking arrangement, pintel etc. and necessary greasing to shutter, with or including spot welding, running welding complete all as specified and directed. Note: New mild steel required for replacing rusted or damaged portion will be measured separately.

M&L Welded steel wire fabric cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Framed work such as grills, gratings, angles etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of static water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including dismantling/ taking down existing framed work and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs mild steel black sheet 0.80mm thick in wall cladding, steel gates and similar works, cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails for rebates and fixed to steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with rebated or weilded seams including bending or turning up mitred angles etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Dismantling and re-fixing barbed wire of any description straining and fixing to any type of standrard rails including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire ,stapple or steel pins complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Each line of wire to be measured).

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stainless steel letters 12 inches height made out of 1mm thick stainless steel plate, cut folded, welded to required shape including fixing on the granite with bolt nuts/ steel surface etc, including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L taking down and refixing the steel gate not exc 3.00 sqm in each pane after repair of rusted or damaged portion of the gate including pivot, holdfast, stopper, locking arrangement, pintel etc., and including necessary greasing to shutter, spot/running welding if required complete all as specified and directed. Note: New mild steel required for replacing, rusted or damaged portion will be measured separately.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in of any description and in any position and removal of debris out of MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B–1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs, chullah hoods, Chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces including formwork, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for loose filling with broken bricks of gauge 40 to 80mm in soakage pits, soakage wells complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 m but not exc 3 m deep in any type of soil and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 m but not exc 3 m deep in soft / disintegrated rock and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 64 to 66 :- Only manual excavation shall be allowed. The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive for the following:-

(a) Excavating either straight or curved on plan

(b) Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance except in the case of surface dressing which includes for all the foregoing except clearing away of trees

(c) Bailing out, pumping out or otherwise removing all water which may accumulate in the excavations

(d) Setting out the work profiles, etc. as well as for all tools and plant

(e) All materials and labour required protecting against risk of accidents, etc.

(f) Watching and lighting, whenever necessary.

(g) Forming (or leaving) ‘Dead men’ or ‘Tell tales’ in borrow pits and their removal after record of measurements where required

(h) Forming (or leaving) steps in sides of deep excavations and their removal or covering up, after record of measurements

(j) Excavation for insertion of planking and strutting where required

(k) Removing slips or falls in excavations

(l) Authorised battering or benching of excavations

(m) Slinging or supporting pipes, electric cables, etc. met with during excavation

M&L RCC 1:1½:3 Type A-1 using 20mm graded stone agg. as in roof slab complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L form work to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landing and similar work: not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for form work to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs horizontal or sloping and similar work exceeding 10cm but not exceeding 20cm wide for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Salt-glazed stoneware drain pipes, 150mm bore, laid in trenches and jointed as specified, complete including demolition of existing pipe any size complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for pipes of size 150 mm bore of pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing debris to out side of MD land to a distance exc 1.5km and not exceeding 5.0 km complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Contractor shall visit the site to ascertain the distance where the materials has to be disposed.

M & L preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots ect and applying one coat of cement based paint including preparation of old surface of wall complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 87:- (i)Before applying cement based paint ,the surface shall be thouroughly wetted to control surface suction. The surface shall be moist but not dripping wet when the paint applied .Surfaces which readily absorb moisture shall be wetted in one operation not more than one hour before painting.Surfaces which absorb moisture slowly shall be wtted in at least two operations not less than 30 minutes apart.

(ii)To maintain a uniform mixture and to prevent segregation ,the paint shall be stirred frequently in the bucket.

(iii)Painting surfaces shall be cured as soon as paint has hardened so as not be to damaged by the spray about 12 hours after the applications.

(iv) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

(v)Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of any approved make as per list of makes specified.

M & L preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of Aluminium paint not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

M & L preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of ceiling/soffit of slab etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots ect and applying one coat of white wash on old surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 94 -: (i) The lime shall be slaked at site and shall be mixed and stirred with about five liters of water for 1 kg of unslaked lime to make a thin cream. This shall be allowed to stand for a period of 24 hours and shall then be screened through clean coarse cloth. 1 kg of gum dissolved in hot water shall be added to every one cubic meter of lime cream. About 1.3 Kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lime for making the coating hard and rub resistant. Small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the last two coats of white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use

(ii) Application of Whitewash:- Whitewash shall be applied with ‘MOONJ’ brush or other brush to the specified number of coats. The operation for each coat shall consist of a stroke of the brush given from the top downwards, another from the bottom upwards over the first stroke and similarly one stroke horizontally from the right and another from the left before it dries. Each coat shall be allowed to dry before the next coat is applied. No portion of the surface shall be left out initially to be patched up later on. The brush shall be dipped in whitewash, pressed lightly against the wall of the container and then applied by lightly pressing against the surface with full swing of hand

(iii)Whitewashing on ceiling should be done prior to that on walls.

M&L for exterior wall/garden tiles 10mm thick(rectangular/ Square) polished in vertical surfaces, skirting/ dado etc laid over 10mm thick back coat in CM 1:4 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles including taking down existing one complete all as directed.

Note for Item No 98 :- (i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) Dismantling of stone slab and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any discription of thickness in floor

(iii) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.

Stainless steel work of Gde 304 for stairs (framed) including stringers, treads, landing balusters, hand rail etc., including cleats, brackets etc,. Complete including taking down existing one all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of cutting the damaged portion of stairs (framed) stringers, treads, landing balusters, hand rail and replace the damaged portion.

S&F 2mm thick, corrugated polycarbonate transparent sheet with UV coating of 40 microns ensuring light transmission not less than 85 % weather & heat resistant and tesile and break up strength as per relevent IS, side lap fixed with self tapping screws/J hooks 8mm dia in roof, wall etc complete including taking down all as specified and as directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 104 :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

(b) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 108 :- (i)Before applying cement based paint ,the surface shall be thouroughly wetted to control surface suction. Note for Item No 114 :- Only manual excavation shall be allowed. The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive for the following:-

(a) Excavating either straight or curved on plan

M&L Granite work (of any type) 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin platform and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 in repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates)complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of paver tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land

M&L Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface including removal of existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Pre painted Coloured Corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dimantling of existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Note for pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensure that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot and independent test for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs Broken glass coping on top of walls using broken glass pieces fixed in CM (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 140:- The quoted rates shall be deemed to inclusive of following:- (a) 25mm layer of cement mortar for fixing glass pieces(of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting.

(b) Taking down existing glass from coping.

(c) Scaffolding for execution of work and protective measures should be taken.

M & L preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 144:- (a) The Exterior emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base , fillng and mass concrete or as in receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc including demolition complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) including demolishing the existing tile complete all as specified and directed Note : The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation/fixing.

M&L Checking of floor, plinth, plaster etc requiring masonry work and carrying out minor repairs such as edges, patches etc, including petty repairs material like sand, cement & aggregate to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The rates for plastering / plinth include for following:-

(a) Preparing the surfaces.

(b) Thickness of plaster/plinth key in joints, etc.

(c) Anises, chamfers of any width, internal rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth external rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth.

(d) All materials, labour and equipment & supply of integral waterproofing compound,

(e) Scoring surface of plastering for key, where the surface is not required to be finished fair.

(f) Plastering in patches (in repairs), exc 3 sq.m each patch, for preparing old walls to receive plastering'. Nothing extra shall be admissible for matching with existing work etc.

(g) Any individual patch (other than nail hole, plug hole, etc.) are included for provided existing surface finish .

M&L Preparation of old painted steel surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 163:- (a) All synthetic enamel paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
