Providing and grounding of Pipe type earthing equipments which consist of 25 mm. dia meter and not less than 3050 mm. Long heavy duty GI pipe by making about 300mm dia 3750 mm deep pit atleast 3650 mm. away from stub and filling the pit with finely broken coke with granule sizes not more than 25 mm. and salt in such a way that minumum cover of 150 mm. thick salt mixed coke shall be maintained from the pipe on all side and that the top edge of pipe at least 600 mm below the ground line. The GS strip shall be buried not be less than 600 mm. from the gound line. the contractor will be required to supply these gounding material complete with necessary bolts, nuts connecting strips as per technical specification.
