Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade by insitu machine mix concrete adopting weighing batch method in accordance with IS 456 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 Cu.m) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cu.m) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Providing and placing in position of Cement Concrete of grade M 30 using hard well graded aggregates with the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 20mm; weigh batching the ingredients and mixing in approved mixers/batching plant (to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 30N/mm2 at 28days) including dewatering of placement site by bailing/pumping and by diverting wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers of various thickness and in bays, vibrating, compacting and finishing the surface, adequate water curing so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the approved drawing and specifications as per the direction of the Engineer complete in all respect but excluding the cost and placing of reinforced grill in position etc, complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications.

Preparation of Sub grade (as per technical specification) duly moistured and duely removing the surface irregularities including dewatering and laying plain cement concrete lining 60mm thick of M15 design mix concrete on canal bed/haunches/ berms using hard coarse aggregate with nominal maximum size of 20mm IS specificed grading to have well graded aggregates weigh batching the ingredients along with air entraining agents (200ml per bag of cement) and mixing these in mixer machine (concrete mix to yield 28 days) placement of concrete over the sub grade on canal bed/haunches/berms manually including consolidation of concrete, providing tranverse contraction joint grooves as per technical specification (2.10m spacing) and water curing of the lining. The sub grade shall be well prepared dressed and rolled to true level and specified section to form a firm compacted base for the lining as directed by the Engineer in charge of the Work.

Supplying and Erecting water tight steel centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and shuttering including strutting for all works etc up to 3.29 m height with all cross bracings using mild steel BG 10 sheets of size 90cm x 60cm x 10 mm gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25x25x3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood) joist of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and suitably supported by casuarina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre, including cost of materials etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental officers. The payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid and the retrieved materials should be taken back by the contractor.

Supplying and filling in foundation, base of the lining, basement, etc with filling M-sand in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Fixing PVC pipes of size 75mm dia with ISI Standards (4 kg/cm2) for providing pressure relief holes( weep holes) etc., including all labour charges for fixing etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.(at 2m interval)

Supplying and fixing PVC water Bar 150mm wide with single bulb including all labour charges,conveyance charges for fixing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (20m Intervel)

Supplying and fixing Bitumen pad 20mm thick for joints in the wall etc., including all labour charges for fixing etc ,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing 300mm wide PVC EXPANSION JOINT in the 20mm expansion gap provided in between decks over piers and in between deck and dirt wall over abutment as shown in the drawing including cost and conveyance of expansion joints including shalimar pad and joint sealant etc., complete

Rough stone dry packing for apron and revetment to the required thickness with new hard granite jeddy stone etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental officers.

Refilling with excavated soil (other than sand) complying with standard specification for filling in foundation and basement and compaction by hand roller in filling the earth.

Supplying and filling gravel in between the gaps of cement blocks complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental officers.

Forming inverted filter by using 10mm to 80mm size graded metal of 0.075m thick of 10mm metal, 0.075m thick of 20mm metal, 0.10m thick of 40mm metal and 0.15m thick of 80mm metal from bottom to top over the coarse sand of 20 cm thick including cost of material and stacking charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and filling with sealant material in contraction joint after thoroughly cleaning all the joints@ 2.10m c/c and finishing the surface to match with lining face with contractors own material as per technical specifications as directedby the Engineer incharge of the work (as per the drawing of the contraction joint enclosed) (Channel Bed and sides Slopes)

Providing & fixing pre-cast cylindrical porous plug of 75 mm Dia and 300 mm in length in porous concrete in CC 1:0:4, one in each panel in the bed at 2.70m c/c in filter having a size 45 x 45 x 45 cm filled with sand and 30 x 30x 30cm filled with 12mm to 40mm coarse aggregate mixed with 1/3 sand on the inner including excavation etc., complete complying with technical specification and as directed by the Engineer incharge of the work.

Fabricating, Supplying and erection of Screw gearing steel shutters of size upto 1m width consist shutters of skin plate made out of 8mm thick mild steel plate and horizontally stiffened with 65x65x6mm mild steel Angle at an interval not more than 0.50m and vertical stiffeners made out of same section at an interval not more than 0.60m and provided with 8mm mild steel gusset plate of required size on both sides fastened with rust free bolts and nuts etc. Conveying the fabricated shutter by using lorries including loading, unloading and leading the shutter to the vent. Erecting the new shutter and the shuttering arrangements in the vent in proper position by using necessary hoisting equipment. The shutter shall be painted with two coats of Anticorrosive black paint over one coat of Red Oxide Primer. The rate including cost of materials consumables, labours power charges, conveyance charges for all equipment required conveying the dismantled materials to the section stores, cost of petty civil works, trial operation of shutter and warranty for 5 years etc.,complete.

Fabricating, supplying and fixing of 50mm dia Screw Rod made up of Mild Steel duly machined and fully threaded to suit the Head set Assembly and provided with required holes. Conveying and leading the screw rod to the worksite. Fixing the screw rod to the shutter gusset plate with required bolt and nut in proper alignment to the head set including conveying and stacking at section store. The Screw rod should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. The rate including cost of materials, labours, charges for all fabricating and hoisting equipments, conveyance charges for labours and materials and warranty for 5 years etc., complete

Fabricating, supplying and fixing of Shutter Groove Angle made up of 65x65x6mm Mild Steel angle for required height including welding hold fast of size 25x25x6mm Mild steel angle 2 Nos on both sides and conveying and leading the groove angle to the vents. Fixing the angle to the grooves in proper alignment including conveying and stacking at section store. The groove angle should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. The rate including cost of materials, consumables, labours charges for all fabricating and hoisting equipments, conveyance, petty civil works and warranty for 5 years etc., complete, etc.,

Supplying and fixing of Head Set Assembly Heavy duty with hexagonal nut (Approximate 50 Kg) made up of cast iron including moulding, machining and the hexagonal nut threaded to suit the Screw Rod provided with thrust bearings for smooth operation. Conveying and leading the head set assembly to the work site. Fixing the head set assembly to the top beam by using required rust free bolts and nuts in proper alignment including conveying and stacking at section Store. The Head set assembly supplied with operating key and the both should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. The rate including cost of malerials, labours, charges for wooden pattern, moulding and charges for labours and materials and warranty for 5 years etc, complete.

Fabricating, Supplying and fixing of Top Beam made up of 150x75mm (ISMB 150) duly drilled to suit the Head Set Assembly with required bed bolt made out of 25mm mild steel round rod duly threaded with suitable anchorage arrangements to a height of 0.60m with necessary Fish plate made out of 12mm mild steel plate of size 0.30 x 0.15m 2Nos with required holes.Conveying and leading the top beam arrangements to the work site. Fixing the top beam arrangements at the top of the vent in correct position including conveying and stacking and the section stores. The top beam should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of Red Oxide primer. The Rate including cost of materials, labours, charges for all fabricating and hoisting equipments, cost of petty civil works conveyance charges for labours and materials and warranty for 5 years etc.., complete.
