Construction of weather Shelter of size 30m x 30m including its design, Fabrication, Supply and its erection Pre-Engineer Building (PEB) structure with all RCC foundation and necessary Civil works, roofing, painting, bird proofing net all as shown in architectural dwg and related TDs. Structural design shall be carried out as per design criteria and design shall be vetted by from any of seven old IIT. NOTE:- 1. Weather shelter design shall be carried out from any of PEB manufacturer as per makes specified in PS. 2. Design parameters shall be as per relavant IS codes. 3. Architectural drwaing shall be referred as base for structural design. 4. Design inputs parameters shall be vetted from E-2 (Des) of this office before vetting by IIT. 5. Weather shelter site Natural Ground is sloping as per level plan drwaings. Cost of Building quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include cost of extra earthworks and foundation due to sloping ground. 6. Flooring of weather shelter is exclusive from cost of Building quoted here and same shall be measured and paid separatelty in respective schedule. Flooring of weather shelter shall consist of 350mm PQC, 150mmDLC, 150mm WMM, 150mm GSB and HDPE sheet all as specified in respective shcedule and directed by Garrision Engineer. Earthwork upto bottom & GSB is deemed to be part of lump sum quoted by contractor.
Construction of voltage stablizer room all as per relavent drawings.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to and including 32 x 6 mm GI earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-1, including testing on completion including the material.
a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1. (c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm. (d) Funnel with watering pipe of Gl 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified. (e) 40 mm nominal bore light grade Gl protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (g) Testing of earthing
Notes: (i) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not less than 5 ohm obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The unit rate includes Gl pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth lead. (ii) The unit rate includes main earthing lead/strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 meter. (iii) In case measured value of earth resistance is recorded more than 5.0 ohms then the Earthing shall be re- done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. (iv) If there is a requirement of grid earthings to achieve the desired earth resistance, as directed by Eng-in-charge, then inter connecting of different earthings shall be done at no extra cost.

Material and labour for cable route indicators, engraved with type, size and voltage of cable painted, embedded in PCC block (1:2:4) type B-1 of size 150 × 100mm fixed in ground at 0.5 mtr height above ground level with the 40×40×5 mm MS angle indicating the route of cable all as specified and directed.
