Two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion in disruptive/camouflaging pattern after applying a coat of exterior (water based) primer on old PQC surfaces of taxi track/ links/ shelters/ runway surfaces etc. including preparation of surfaces by mechanised sander having suction vacuum bag using smart periodical methodology, complete all as specified.
NOTES: (i) Exterior acrylic emulsion & primer shall be applied only through approved applicators authorised by the manufacturers for such works. (ii) Entire quantity of material for this work shall be procured by the contractor from manufacturer's Depot & deposit the same with Enginer-in-Charge and same shall be issued to contractor on daily basis as per consumption at site. (iii) RGB value of four shades of disruptive/camouflaging pattern shall be all as shown on Drg No. GE/SK-1/19 sheet 1/2 & 2/2.
Edge scrapping of runway, taxi track, dispersal by cutting/removing grass manually complete.
Scraping and grinding of existing painted surfaces of lines/dashes/arrows width not exceeding 30 cm with mechanical grinders as in concrete floors/hardstanding/termac areas/runway to match the existing surfaces complete. NOTE: No electric connection will be provided by MES to the contractor and necessary arrangement for electric supply will be made by contractor at his own arrangement through Generator etc.
