REPAIR TO ROADS, PATHS, CULVERTS AND OTHER ROAD WORK IN CAMERO COMPLEX UNDER GE (AF) SUBROTO PARK , DELHI CANTT-10

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc on black top surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) VG-10 at 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm using paving bitumen on black top surface, complete all as speified and directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in Computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of Self Propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 5.5% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg. (ii) Contractor shall provide bitumen extraction apparatus along with benzene and other requisite material at site to determine the bitumen content without any extra cost. (iii) The mix design shall be done from approved lab and will be approved from GE before commencement of work.(iv) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (v) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate of Rs 50.00 per Kg of grade VG-30 bitumen. However no adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam using binder paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4.0% by weight of total mix, mixed in automatic hot mix plant with design mix and laid by using self-propelled mechanical paver, consolidated thickness not more than 75mm, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified & directed. Note:-(i) In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 4.0% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg. (ii) Contractor shall provide bitumen extraction apparatus along with benzene and other requisite material at site to determine the bitumen content without any extra cost. (iii) The mix design shall be done from approved lab and will be approved from GE before commencement of work.

Material & Labour for preparation of new/old previously untreated surfaces to receive the thermoplastic paint and making of guide lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc with reflective thermoplastic paint 1.0 to 1.50 mm thick, white, golden, yellow or black colour as required, using glass beads necessary for achieving reflection on roads, pavements and the like of any description and any width all as per MORTH clause 803.4 and BS 6088, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IP-65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Cat eye solar reflective type of alloy metal body of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair speed bump (speed breaker) made of heavy duty ABS with high resistance wear & tear property, US stabilized black and yellow coloured, high reflective reflector having length 500mm width 400 mm and height 75 mm coloured fixed on ground with necessary bolts as recommended by manufacturer and filled with and including PCC 1:2:4 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) on hollow space of speed bump, complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for complete all as specified & directed.
