Construction of Outfall Drain from the Junction of Sectors 31, 32, 26, and 24 to the Supplementary Drain, Rohini (Phase-I)

Preparation, submission and approval of hydraulic design for Construction of Outfall Drain Phase-II from the Junction of Sectors 31, 32, 26, and 24 to the Supplementary Drain, including design of outfall structure at the Supplementary Drain, Rohini (Phase-II). The job includes works as described under complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 1. Scope of Work as following- 2. Conducting detailed topographical survey of the project area and proposed alignment of the outfall drain using Total Station/DGPS and preparation of contour maps, L-sections and crosssections. 3. Carrying out geotechnical/soil investigations at suitable locations along the proposed drain alignment and submission of soil investigation report. 4. Hydrological and hydraulic Design analysis for assessment of storm water discharge and determination of suitable drain sizes and gradients and approval of the same from MCD/I&FC GNCTD if required. 5. Structural design of all components of the drainage system including drains, manholes, chambers, retaining wall structures, slabs, raft foundations and outfall structures as required. 6. Examination and recommendation of suitable and economical drain sections based on hydraulic and structural requirements (RCC pipe or Open Surface Drain or Box Drain) considering available space and slope) according to revised hydraulic design as per site condition. 7. Design of outfall structure for safe discharge of storm water into the Supplementary Drain including necessary protection works including Rain water harvesting system as per govt. guidelines.

8. Preparation of detailed drawings including layout plans, alignment plans, longitudinal sections, cross sections and structural drawings. 9. The consultant shall submit at least 10 (ten) hard copies and 2 (two) soft copies of the approved scheme, drawings, and structural drawings, along with 3 (three) hard copies of the detailed estimate. 10. Preparation of detailed project estimate, BOQ and cost abstract based on latest applicable CPWD Schedule of Rates/market rates. 11. Preparation and submission of Detailed Project Report (DPR) including survey data, investigation reports, design calculations, drawings and estimates. 12. Providing technical assistance and clarifications during scrutiny and approval of the project by the competent authority. Apart from the above, the consultant shall provide any other technical inputs or clarifications as may be required for the smooth planning and execution of the work.
