M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed

Repair to potholes any depth, n.exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and rolled with tandem vibratory roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, n.exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth but making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n.exc. 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced "Water bound macadam/ Wet mix macadam surface" by brushing with wire brushs for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 10 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Premix Bituminous Macadam laid with mechanical paver and material transported in tipped (covered) vehicle and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with tandem vibratory roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using binder content of paving bitumen (VG-30) by 4 % weight of total mix, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparing for "Bituminous macadam surfaces and existing black top surface" by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of VG-10 @5 kg per 10 Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Premix Semi-dense Bituminous Concrete 40 mm (consolidated thickness) with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix (Paving bitumen VG-30) laid with mechanical paver and material transported in tipped (covered) vehicle and compacted to required camber and gradient with tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and no price adjustment shall be applicable in this regard.

Taking down existing Cat eyes of any size, any description complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Cat's eye retro reflective type of metal body alloy of size 120mm x 110mm x 24mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- Dark Eye, Model No. DA 972.0 or equivalent model of other manufacturers from the list.
