Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for certain old Bldg Nos P-31 to P-37, P-39 to P-42, P-44 to P-49, P-133 to P-137, P-145 to P-148, P-159 to 164, P-166 and P-359 to 361 at NOFRA I and II Goa under GE Gomantak Vasco

Material and labour for conducting various non destructive testing on buildings as under :-

(a) Visual inspection with photographs, performing the visual survey of the building and recording, maping on drawings and extent of spalled concrete, cracked concrete, honey combing, reinforcement corrosion, delaminated concrete etc, taking photographs to collect evidance of damage to structure all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

(b) UPV Test (Ultra sonic pulse velocity test) in accordance with IS 13311 Part-I 1992 by portable ultrasonic non destructive digital test equipment. Plaster chipping is manodatory. If chipping is not permitted by department the same shall be noted.

(c) Rebound Hammer Test: Rebound hammer test in accordance with IS-13311 Part-I 1992by portableultrasonic non destructive digital test equipment Plaster chipping is mandatory, If chipping is not permitted by department the same shall be noted.

(d) Core Cutting and compression test : Core cutting & compression test in accordance with IS 516 on RCC members 70 mm core cutting reinforcement core filling by specialised epoxy material micro concrete with bond coat.

(e) Cover depth for RCC structure in accordance with BS 1881-204-1988. This test measure the distance between the surface and the rebar, Used to determine spacing between rebars and the concrete cover.

(f) Chemical Test in accordance with IS 456-2000 using ready made kits & reagents. Sample collected will be from half cell carbonation power.

(g) Half cell potential in accordance with ASTMC876 Half cell potential to assess the probability of corrosion of reinforcement.

(h) Carbonation Test in accordance with BS 1881-201-1986 Clause 2.22 carbonation test to measure extent of carbonation from the concrete surface.

Consulting Charges :-

(i) To check and confirm the present status of structure on basis of NDT and Visual Inspection.

(ii) To provide corrective action required alongwith detailed steps of the methodology of the repair work to be done including technical and material specification shall be suggested based upon the intrepretation of the results in triplicate with soft copies

Note : - (i) Quoted rates shall be deemed to include mobilisation and demobilisation of tools/equipments and personnel required to execute the job as per specification and saftey arrangement for equipment and personnel (ii) Quoted rates shall include all prevailine taxes and duties
