SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I Cleaning of shrubs, uprooting of stumps, small bushes including ploughing and levelling (mechanically) of ground surfaces depth exceeding 30cm and not exceeding 45cm including picking up stone peddles/gravels (of size exc 12mm), making the surface even and uniform, removal of debries from the site upto a distance of 50m, dressing the pin target and surface dressing of embankment for receiving lime of F.G/R.P target as required complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Existing damaged embankement shall be repaired under this item using existing soil obtained at site)

Supply and laying in poistion sand bag with HDPE bag (minimum sand centent in each bag shall be 0.03 cum), properly stitching the bag with nylon threads and placed in position complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and spreading of sawdust and fine sand (screened) mixed in equal parts i.e 1:1 by bulk over butt with minimum depth of 90 cm in slope and finished complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Rolled Mild Steel Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 06 above but except steel complete ditto. (Note: Old serviceable steel as obtained from item No. 05 above shall be re-used)

S & F in repair Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-straining and re-securing of Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings including making good staples etc complete all as specified and as directed. (each line wire to be measured)

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type complete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanisd fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and directed

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed

Straightening and Fixing only old serviceable chain link fencing as obtained from serial item No. 10 above including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed

S & F Mild steel screw bolts of 11 to 15 mm diameter of shank (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exc 5cm and n exc 10cm long complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair concertina coil fencing with punching tap concertina coil 960mm dia 13 mtres openable length having 53 Nos rounds per 6 metres length, single coil, fixed on wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped with horizontal reinforced barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing, stud tied with GI staples and GI clips to retain horizontal including necessary bolts or GI barbed wire tied to angle iron complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: (i) Weight of concertina coil shall be ascertain by a BOO to be convened by Accepting Officer (ii) Barbed wire shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items here-in-before)

All as per serial item No. 15 above but fixing only in repair of any dia complete all as directed. (Note: Old serviceable loosed concertina coil shall be refixed at site after taking down complete)

M & L for Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide, zine chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down from any position and Dismantling ceiling fan (any size/sweep/make), repair the same by cleaning, overhauling, necessary lathe work etc and taking out existing burnt out winding wire of motor and rewinding the same after proper cleaning with super enamelled copper wires as per existing gauge and turn to achieve the desired RPM, necessary insulating materials, insulating varnishing, cleaning and reassembling the ceiling fan after replacement of unserviceable minor parts such as split pin, lock nuts, rubber packing, clamp of condenser, blade nuts, rubber reel insulator, nuts bolts, plastic fan canopy etc as required for smooth functioning of the fan and Replacement of unserviceable major parts like capacitor, bearing, bush etc and testing complete on completion and re-fixing the fan in existing position including provn of twin twisted flexible copper stranded conductor wire of size 23/0.0076 Sqmm of required length complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Note : (a) Replacement of unserviceable major parts like capacitor, bearing, bush etc shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective items of this Schedule. (b) Unit quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of transportation of fan to workshop from site of work)

All as per item No 18 above but for exhaust fan of 450mm sweep complete and ditto.

All as per item No 18 above but for exhaust fan of 230/300mm sweep complete and ditto.

Dismantling of wall/pedestal fan of any sweep, repair the same by cleaning, overhauling, necessary lathe work (grinding & polishing) etc and taking out existing burnt out winding wire of motor and rewinding the same with super enamelled bare insulated copper winding wires as per existing gauge and turn to achieve desired RPM including necessary insulating materials, insulating varnishing, cleaning and reassembling the wall/pedestal fan after replacement of unserviceable minor parts such as frame nut, knob, regulator switch clamp of cendenser etc as required for smooth functioning of the fan and Replacement of unserviceable major parts like capacitor, bearing, bush etc and testing complete on completion and re-fixing the fan in existing position including provn of twin twisted flexible copper stranded conductor wire of size 23/0.0076 Sqmm of required length complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Note : (a) Replacement of unserviceable major parts like capacitor, bearing, bush etc shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective items of this Schedule. (b) Unit quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of transportation of fan to workshop form MES store yard)

Taking down carefully existing ceiling fan of any size/sweep/make from it's existing position, dismantling the fan including preventive maintenance by servicing, greasing, oiling, cleaning external surfaces porperly and replacement of defective spare parts and re-assembling and refixing the same in position including testing and provn of twin twisted flexible copper stranded conductor wire of size 23/0.0076 Sqmm of required length complete as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Cost of spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this Schedule as "Supply only").

Supply only Capacitor for ceiling fan of capacity 3.15 mfd (PVC body) + 5%, 220 volts, 50 Hz conforming to IS - 1709 AAPHS, temperature Max 85 degree centrigate complete all as specified and directed. (Make: NICCO, SIEMENS, EPCOS, Universal & TIBCON)

Supply only Capacitor for ceiling fan of capacity 4 mfd (PVC body) + 5%, 220 volts, 50 Hz conforming to IS - 1709 AAPHS, temperature Max 85 degree centrigate complete all as specified and directed. (Make: NICCO, SIEMENS, EPCOS, Universal & TIBCON)

Supply only Gun metal bush -2 Nos with shaft rod of required size suitable for Exhast fan 230/300 mm sweep complete all as directed

Supply only Gun metal bush for suitable size of existing motor shaft for ceiling fan complete all as directed. (Make:- Orient, Usha, Ganesh ,Khaitan, MIE)

M & L for Single coat painting to ceiling fan of any sweep with 1st grade quality synthetic enamel paint by spraying, filling cavites with filler including necessary preparation of surface duly demarking fan Nos complete as specified and directed. (Note : Writing Fan No & letters shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule).

M & L for Single coat painting to exhaust fan of any sweep with 1st grade quality synthetic enamel paint by spraying, filling cavities with filler including necessary preparation of surface duly demarking the fan Nos complete as specified and directed. (Note : Writing Fan Nos & letter shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item of this Schedule).

M & L for Writing Nos or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) such as "MES No …." with synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) of tint black/white complete all as required and directed. (Max 10 Nos letter/figure & n. exc 2 cm height in each fan).

S & F in repair hanging clamp of ceiling fan made out of mild steel flat iron of suitable size including nuts, bolts, rubber reel insulator and split pin complete all as per existing specification and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs, Stepped type, electronic fan regulator, 220 volts, flush type complete all as specified and directed. (Make: Anchor, Model No. 14502 or equivalent make as per list of manufacturer)

S & F in repair down rod made out of GI pipe, 15mm bore, medium grade for hanging ceiling fan including nuts, bolts & washer with 2 Nos rubber insulator including drilling holes as required including necessary painting with coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L in replacement for Mild steel framed work such as frame for exhaust fan etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 and necessary painting with coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Rubber insulator reel type suitable for fan hook of any type including taking out old one complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair canopy for ceiling fan of any sweep/make complete all as per the existing specifications and as directed.

Comprehensive repair/maintenance of storage type electric heater (geyser) vertical/horizontal type of capacity upto 50 ltrs comprising of the following works complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge:- (a) Inspection, taking down or dismantling, de-scaling, brushing and thoroughly cleaning the storage tank upto the entire satisfection of Engr-in-Charge (b) Checking of all stop cock, pressure release valve, fusible plug etc to ensure free functioning of the parts including Supply and replacement of washer/gasket, nuts etc as required. (c) Inspect overflaw and vent pipes and remove blockages (if any) (d) Checking and rectify earth continuity of the electrical circuits of the geyser and power points (e) Check, maintain and re-fixing thermostat and re-adjust (f) Visual examination of of fusible plugs for its serviceability (g) De-scaling the immersion type heating element and siphon assembly with diluted hydrochloride acid or cear pedette solution (h) Checking of indicator lamp for its serviceability (j) Re-assembling the geyser, re-installed and testing complete (Note: (i) Spare parts/components of geysers shall be measured and paid seperately as "supply only" under respective items here-in-below.
