GUEST HOUSE BUILDING

1.1 Earthwork in excavation for foundation trenches of walls, retaining walls, footings of column, steps, septic tank etc. including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of work, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, watering and ramming etc. and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified in the following classification of soils including bailing out water where necessary as directed and specified. (A) Up to a depth of 2.00m below the existing ground level. (b) In hard/ dense soil- For Building

(B) Extra over item no.1.1(A) above for each 1m depth or part thereof beyond the initial depth of 2m.

1.3 Earth/sand filling in plinth in layers not more than 150mm thick including necessary carriage, watering, ramming etc. complete as directed and specified including payment of land compensation, forest royalty, sales tax and other duties and taxes as may be necessary. (c) With river sand or silt (predominantly non plastic) by truck carriage including loading and unloading.

(e) Extra cost for lifting of sand for filling of sunk floor for each subsequent floors above the ground floor as directed and specified.

2.1.1 Plain cement concrete works with coarse aggregate of sizes 13mm to 32mm in foundation bed for footing steps, walls, brick works etc. as directed and specified including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete (shuttering where necessary shall be measured and paid separately). 2.1.3 Providing and laying 25mm thick damp proof course with cement concrete in prop 1:1.5:3 with graded stone agg. of 10mm down nominal size including providing approved damp proof admixture in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer including curing etc. complete as directed.

2.2.1 Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement croncrete works cement, coarse sand & 20mm down graded stone aggregate including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete but excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work (form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately) (I) Using Mixer Machine (A) In substructure up to plinth level

Providing, supplying, mixing and champhering the edges along joint of wall/ parapet wall and raft/ roof slab having champhered dimension of 150mm x 150mm with cement sand mortar (prop.1:4) mixed with Master Proof IWP-1 of Choksey Chemicals /Dr. Sealkit No. 1 of (Asian Chemicals)/ RHEOMAC 707 of BASF@ 0.2% by weight of cement over a primer coat on the area to be champhered with a combination of 100% acrylic Polymer Master Crete M-81/Dr. Sealkit Sealcrete (Asian Chemicals)/ RHEOMAC 115 of BASF of Choksey Chemicals and cement in the ratio 1:2 to be applied by brush as specified & directed by the Department complete.

Providing and laying modified bituminous water proofing membrane system in roof, Polymod-AP of choksey Chemicals, 3mm thick APP modified waterproofing membrane by torch on method using LPG torch flame after applying a coat of Bituminous primer "Primer Polymod-SB" @ 0.2kg/sq.m. complete as specified and directed by the Department followed by : Supplying, providing, mixing and laying of concrete screed of average 75mm thick in proportion 1:2:4 (1cement : 2fine aggregate : 4coarse aggregate) (by volume) with 12mm and down well graded aggregates and admixed with a normal plasticizer like Master Plast PL-1 of Choksey Chemicals /Dr. Sealkit Normal Plast (Asian Chemicals) @ 0.3% by weight of cement after making the concrete fibre reinforced for reducing the effect of thermal expansion by mixing concrete with Recron 3S @ 1.25kg per bag of cement and/ as specified and directed by the Department.

Applying 2 coats of 1mm thick elastomeric cementitious waterproofing coating Brushbond RFX of Fosroc Chemicals /Dr. Sealkit Flexbond AP 122 C (Asian Chemicals) / MASTERSEAL 550EL of BASF for waterproofing structures like roof slabs, basement, sunken slabs, chajjas, tunnels, water tank etc. after proper surface preparation and soaking the surface with water prior to application complete as specified and directed by the Department at all levels.

Providing colour coated DURASHINE/TATA BLUESCOPE zinc-aluminium roof , wall and tile profile sheet accessories (total coating thickness=0.45mm) including fasteners class 2 SDS, fitting and fixing complete. (Roof trusses, purlins etc. to be measured and paid separately.) (b) (ii) Crimped Curved Ridge

Pre construction anti - termite treatment at the bottom of foundation pits and walls on either side up to a height of 300mm from bottom of the excavation made for column plinth beam, wall, trenches etc. by applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter of the surface area before starting construction work (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. a) with aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or euivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

Pre construction anti - termite treatment in the back fill in immediate contact with the foundation structure after completion, column, wall etc. to a depth of 450mm and width 300mm (when required refill in 200mm thick layers) applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter towards the concrete and masonry walls so as to ensure earth in contact with the structure well treated - with chemical (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. a) with aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or euivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

Pre construction anti - termite treatment by applying in the entire levelled area after plinth filling and before laying floor by applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter of the surface to be spread with light rodding so as to ensure proper absorption by the filled up earth (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. a) with aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or euivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

13.3.4Providing two coats of Birla White Wall Care Putty (Water Resistant White Cement based putty for concrete/ mortar walls and ceiling both internal and external) after removing all loosely adhering material from the wall surface with the help of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush and moistening the wall with sufficient quantity of clean water as specified and directed by the department. (Total thickness of two coats is maximum 1.5mm) (I) Thickness = 1.5 mm

13.2.2(d)Applying one coat of alkali resistance primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface after throughly brushing the surfaces free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth.

13.5.2Finishing wall with two coats of acrylic emulsion exterior coatings of Unicem "Rakshak" brand of required shade by thinning 1ltr. of paint with 750ml of water to give an even shade after throughly brooming the surfaces to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials as specified and directed by the department.

17.12 Supplying, fitting and fixing double leaf heavy duty iron gate, frame made from 40mm x 40mm x 6mm M.S. angle and with M.S. flat of 40mm x 6mm size as per approved design.Necessary locking arrangement for temporary closing the gate and 2nos.( minimum) strong iron hinges of M.S bars and flat of same sizes on each leaf to be embedded in C.C brick pillers as necessary including a red oxide painting to all iron works as directed and specified.(Separate payment will be made for posts).

Raising low site around the building with approved soil obtained from outside by truck carriage including breaking clods, dressing etc. complete including paying necessary forest royelty, sales tax, land compensation, municipal gate fees, if any monopoly duty etc. (profile measurement to be taken and 12.5% deduction for shrinkage to be made from total quantity) etc. complete as directed and specified.
