Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching and mixing plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using Ordinary Portland cement of 43/53 grade or Portland Pozzolana Cement or Portland Slag cement conforming as per relevant IS codes, to be mixed at site, with 0.5% Super plasticizer by mass of cementitious material, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using Slip Form Paver or Fixed form paver including anti friction layer, joint filler board, making necessary provision for expansion, dummy and construction joint including filling with Polysulphide sealant of approved make, curing and making profile, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and specifications. The item for execution shall include all operations making pavement for intended use but not limited to following: (i) Polyethylene sheet (White in color) of thickness 400 micron conforming to IS: 2508 with 6mm thick fine sand layer. (ii) Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant). (iii) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification. (iv) Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 in expansion/ construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. as per the details below: (a) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (b) Construction Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (c) Dummy Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (v) Making profile as per DGCA CAR, panel drawing showing dummy, construction, expansion joints location. Note: (i) Areas inaccessible to paving equipment shall be constructed by manual/hand guided method. Areas in which manual/hand guided methods of construction become indispensable shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in writing in advance. (ii) The quantity of cement, type of cement and super plasticizer for one Cum. of finished concrete specified are for tendering purpose only. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of OPC cement as 360 Kg/Cum or 400 Kg of Portland Pozzolana Cement/ Portland Slag cement. In addition, if the actual quantity of cement & super plasticizer required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement and super plasticizer as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement and super plasticizer in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor, the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer. The rate of cement and super plasticizer exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. a) New work (Two or more coats)
Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)
Carrying out Plate Load test to determine Modulus of Subgrade reaction (K - value) at subgrade/ subbase / base layer or at locations decided by the Engineer-In-Charge as per IS Code 9214-1979 and submission of test results as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge. The test should be carried out by the specialised agency / firm as approved by the Engineer -In Charge.
Providing and laying non-pressure NP4 class (Heavy duty) R.C.C. pipes with collar/ spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete : a) 450 mm dia pipe
Providing and Erecting 2.4 mtr high temporary barricading at site. The item shall consist followings( Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).- a) Providing and erecting 2.40 metre high temporary barricading at site made of M.S. Sheet 1.63mm thick as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: The agency shall start segregating operational and non operational area with temporary barricading after the design and drawings of the barricading as approved by Engineer in charge. The barricading shall be designed so as to withstand wind loads and jet blast loading.)
Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing C.I. cover without frame for manholes : 560 mm diameter C.I. cover (heavy duty) the weight of the cover to be not less than 108 kg
Providing suitable Passenger vehicle (not more than two years old) for cylinder capacity of minimum 1400 CC, either petrol or diesel driven including driver during the progress of work. The Engineer-in-Charge will be controlling officer for movement of vehicles. The cost shall be inclusive of hire and running charges of vehicle including fuel, mobile oil, driver and maintenance of vehicle. Log book shall be maintained at the office of Engineer-in-charge. The vehicle provided shall have commercial license. The monthly hiring charges shall be based on vehicle movement limit of 1800 Kms per month and 10 hours per day. Payment shall be made on pro rata basis depending on actual mileage logged on monthly basis through RA bills.
Supply of rectangular Mild Steel Isolating Transformer housing box of Size 600mm (l)x 350mm(w) X450mm(h), having two compartments separated by 6 mm thick MS sheet with 25 mm hole. All sides of housing shall be made out of 6 mm thick MS sheet all around except bottom & top surface made of 10 mm thick MS sheet. The housing shall have 4 nos. holes(2 nos in each compartment) to receive 50mm dia pipe at 50mm above the bottom of opposite two side surfaces(600X 450mm) and one no. hole at one side (350X 450mm) to receive 50 mm dia pipe. The box shall have SS earth bolt of size M10 x 40 mm tapped inside on both side surfaces (350X 450mm) and having two drain holes at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 2 nos 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe. The MS top cover of size 600 mm X 350 mm and 10 mm thick with suitable rubber gasket and 8 Nos. M10 SS bolts with tapped hole including painting with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of black enamel paint etc. as required as per the enclosed indicative drawing, however the prior approval of drawing by EIC shall be taken before supply. The housing box shall have detachable stand of size 250mm (l)x 125mm(w) X100mm(h), made of 6 mm MS rod & legs made of 8 mm MS rod, suitable for keeping the isolating Transformers on the top surface of this stand as required.
Supply of rectangular Mild Steel Isolating Transformer housing box of Size 350mm (l)x 350mm(w) X450mm(h), all sides made out of 6 mm thick MS sheet all around except bottom & top surface made of 10 mm thick MS sheet, having 2 nos. equidistant holes to receive 50mm dia pipe, 50mm above the bottom of opposite two side surfaces (350X 450mm). The box shall have one SS earth bolt of size M10 x 40 mm tapped inside and having one drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 1 no 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe. The housing shall be suitable to recieve light fitting base plate on the top and having a clear opening of 220 mm dia at the top surface and 6 numbers M 10 tapped hole centred at 260 mm dia. The MS housing shall be supplied with 6 mm thick MS dummy round plate of 330 mm dia with 6 nos M10 SS bolts with tapped hole, including painting of entire housing and cover with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of black enamel paint etc. as required as per the enclosed indicative drawing, however the prior approval of drawing by EIC shall be taken before supply.
Installation of rectangular MS Transformer housing box of Size 600mm x 350mm X 450mm height i/c cutting/ excavation of surface in hard surface/ PQC/earth, providing two nos. 250 mm long 15 mm dia 'B' class GI pipe in the bottom surface for drainage of water etc., cutting & threading of pipe i/c leveling of housing box with suitable instrument etc. and installation of housing box in soil providing base cement concrete of 1:3:6 of size 900 x 650 x 150 mm thick, and PCC of 1:2:4 all around the housing box of width not less than 125 mm and making suitable slope to the level of runway/ taxiway all around the housing box, painting, lettering, numbring etc i/c disposal of excavated earth, debris/malba and making good the same as original complete as required.
Installation of rectangular MS Transformer housing box of Size 350mm x 350mm X 450mm height inside i/c cutting/ excavation of surface/earth, providing two nos. 250 mm long 15 mm dia 'B' class GI pipe in the bottom surface for drainage of water etc., cutting & threading of pipe,i/c leveling of housing box with suitable instrument etc,, painting of box with one coat of primer and two coats of black enamel paint and installation of housing box in soil providing base cement concrete of 1:3:6 of size 350 x 350 x 150 mm thick, and PCC of 1:2:4 all around the housing box of width not less than 125 mm and making suitable slop to the level of runway all around the housing box, painting, lettering, numbring etc i/c disposal of excavated earth, debris/malba and making good the same as original complete as required.
Supply and laying of 50 mm dia (OD), ISI marked HDPE pipe as per IS:4984:2016, of rating PE 100, PN 10, to connect the consecutive transformer housing boxes and transformer housing box to taxiway centreline fitting / location, at a suitable depth i/c providing the socket / lock / checknut / any other suitable accessories at both sides of transformer housing box to fix the pipe except the pipe end left for the installation of taxiway centreline fittings. The laying shall be in hard surface / PQC / soft soil i/c getting out the excavated materials, refilling the same and consolidating the layers by ramming and watering etc., making good the same and disposal of un-usable materials etc. i/c supply and laying of suitable size nylon rope in the complete length of HDPE pipe, suitable for drawing the cable and wire in the pipe at a later stage etc. complete as required, as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking GPS based co-ordinates on complete length of PTT, Taxiway & Link Taxi by using total station and identifying the locations of light fixtures, route of cable etc based on GPS co- ordinates and marking the same at physical site and on drawings, preparation and submission of reports / drawings as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.
