1. Strengthening of the road from Karupparayan Nagar road to Jadayampalayam J.J. Nagar KM 0/0 - 2/550 H/O Jadayampalayam (R-465)

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201 in all etc complete

Excavation in soil using Hydraulic excavator and tippers with disposal upto 1000m excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, triming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections

Construction of Embankment with material obtained from road way cutting construction of embankment using tractor with grader with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain graded and compacted to meet reguirement of tables 300.1 & 300.2 as per tech. spec clause 301.5 filling with cut earth

Construction of Embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.50m transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000m as per technical spec. Clause 301.5

Collection of Carted earth from approved quarry an average lead 1Km including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and labour charges etc., Km 0/0-1/0

Picking the existing BT surface and sectioning including all labour charges etc, complete.

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in Subbase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Applying PRIMECOAT over WMB/ WMM surface at 7.00Kg of SS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WMM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. complete

Providing and laying Bituminious concrete which shall consists of construction of a single course binder /wearing corse on a previosly prepared Bituminous base to the requirements of the specification using 60/70 grade bitumen as per MorRTH specificaton CI.508.

Provision of 5 nos. rumble strips covered with bituminous concrete, 15- 20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide placed at 1 m centre-to-centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Road Markers/Road Stud with Lens Reflector -- Providing and fixing reflective road studs of ‘category A’ Raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate / methyl methercrylate/ABS moulded body confirming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW / NH. 33023/10/ 97-DO. III dt 11.06.97. The height, width and length shall not be less than 15 mm, 90 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sq.cm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 /- 5 degree. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in Table 2 of said MORTH circular. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks,(of diameter not less than 19 /- 2mm and height not less than 30 /- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. Providing and erecting of Retro - Reflectorised Cautionary, Mandatory and Informatory signs (with definition board) made out of High Intensity Prismatic Grade Sheeting confirming to Type-IV standards of IRC-67: 2012 and ASTM D 4956 –09, specification and fixed over 2mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed over a back supporting frame of 25mmx25mmx3mm Mild Steel angle and supported on a mild steel angle post 75X75X6mm with a clear height of not less than 2.10m from the ground level to the bottom of the sign board and 0.60m below ground level.
