Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary. Note:- Add cost at site of the materials to arrive at the complete rate. The compaction factor for dry, clean sand may be taken as 0.835. Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting. guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).(Rate as per PWD(WB) schedule of rates 2018(Roads & Bridge Work) , page-249(item-4.12) & 212(table3.3-1) and 4th Addenda & Corrigenda)

PRIME COAT Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). DENSE BITUMINOUS MACADAM [Using Bitumen VG-40 (30/40)] Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, filler(Cement /hydrated lime / Rock dust) premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @4.0% (min) for Grading -1 and 4.5% (min) for Grading -2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11 and job mix formula as per clause 505.3.3 of MoRT&H (5th Revision), including screening, cleaning of chips, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature, as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 Mpa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5, all including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Raising manhole cover and frame with CBW (1:4), 375 mm thick up to 100mm high with 20mm thick sand and cement plaster including finishing with neat cement after cutting the asphaltum pavement and taking out and re-fixing the existing manhole cover and frame with cement concrete (1:1.5:3) with stone chips all round the frame surface including removal of surplus spoils.
