RMU should be provided with Copper busbars internal, external as well as earthing busbars should be of copper, Resin cast ring core protection CT on cables 100/1 Amp, 5P10, 2.5 VA - 4 No's. & Resin cast ring core metering CT 50/1 Amp, Cl 1.0, 2.5 VA - 4 No's. on cables, one number fault passage indicator per unit, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The RMU shall be type tested for Internal arc test report for IAC AFL 21KA for 1 second for both tank and cable box should have minimum 3 ways function ring main unit plug in type extensibility must be provided and coupling bus bar should not have expose to air to avoid oxidation. (RMU must be manufactured at place of the OEM and no third party shall be accepted) as per IEC62271-200. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting as required at site.

(B) 3 Nos. 630 Amp Motorized SF6 insulated Vacuum Circuit Breaker RMU, triple pole, single break 3 position (On, Off and earth having STC capacity 20 KA for 3 seconds with copper bus bar and copper earth bar fitted with fixed type voltage indicator device as per IEC 61958-1, fully rated with earth switch, spring assisted mechanism, Red/Green Push Button for On/Off Operation, Arc proof hinged type cable cover interlocked with Earth Switch, Air insulated cable boxes and boots suitable for bottom entry front termination of 3 core cable 95 Sqmm.
(C ) 3O/C + 1E/F self powered relay with Low and High set for Over current and Earth Fault. Relay should have LCD (16 x 2). (vii) 2x12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC. Battery make: EXIDE/HBL.
(D) LED based Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 9-15 kV
Necessayinterclocking arrangement for safety and operations
(E) One No. Operationg Handle for Manual Operation.
(F) One No. Manometer.
(G) Safety Interlocks Shall be provided as per relevant IEC/IS Standards and Manufacturers directions.
(H) Above switchgear shall confirm to all relevant IEC/IS Standards.
(I) The motor should be fitted in such a way that it should not be outside front covers of RMU. Coupling of RMU and Metering module should be with the help of Bolted type arrangement, so that the coupling at site shall be easy. Plug-in type bushing shall not be acceptable.
(J) The Cable termination of RMU should be rear accessible only. And minimum 3 module should accommodate in one tank to avoid multiple coupling at site
(K) PCC 1:2:4. type B1 using 20 mm graded aggregate for foundation of RMU as per recommendations of manufacturers of directed by EIC.
Note (i) Any other parts/items not specified above but have been required essential for smooth and safe functioning of the RMU system shall be quoted rate.

| 2.01 | (A) Incomers
Suitable capacity MCCB Microprocessor base with O/C, S/C, E/L release of TPN 50KA breaking capacity (Ics=Icu), ON, OFF, Trip, R, Y, B - LED Indicating Lamp set alongwith required Instruments and accessories with extended rotary handel and door interlocking arrangment. Current rating of the Incomer in ampere shall be APFC Panel rating in 100KVAR x 1.4 x 1.5 or Nearest higher standards rating.
(B) Instruments & Indications
i) 3-Phase current sensing APFC microprocessor relay/controller , with 5 steps (50+25+15+5+5) and having display of Phase wise V, A, PF, Cos-Phi, Kw, KVA, KVAR, THD-V , THD-I,
harmonics up to 31 level. 3 nos of dual core CT's accuracy class 1, 15VA at incomer of PCC Panel for APFC relay.

iv) Suitable rating control transformer shall be provided for control and indication circuit.
v) All components like control transformer, meter, relay and indicating lamp shall be protected by using suitable rating
individual MCB's.
vi) Wiring of the control circuit shall be done by using 2.5 sq mm, FRLS/HFFR 1100 V grade, PVC insulated multi stranded copper control wire.
(C) Bus Bars
1.3 Amp per Sq.mm,TPN, Electrolytic grade Aluminium bus bar of capacity 1.25 times of incomer rating as per CPWD specification.
(D) Outgoings (APFC Section)
Selection of the capacitors combinations shall be for continuous rating and each capacitor bank shall have suitable capacity Heavy Duty ISI Marked Capacitor, capacitor duty contactor,the capacitor shall be mounted on channel with base of perforated M S Powder coated sheet, connections inter connections etc. and other features as per relevant IS Code having following:
(i) Capacitor bank ratings & stages shall be as per the technical specifications sheet .
(ii) Capacitor will be MPPH self healing type with discharge resistor, pressure release mechanism.
(iii) Since Capacitor Voltage is 525 Volts, thus higher KVAR has to be considered to get rated output at 415 Volts.
(iv) 14% Detuned Reactor of class H insulation & 150% linearity in series with Capacitor. | - | - | - | - |
