Excavation in trenches in any type of soft / hard soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation / laying of pipes and getting out complete all as specified & directed

Returning, filling in any type of soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified & directed

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed

M & L for Sand cushioning for 8 cm before laying the cable and then after laying the cable 15 cm width of trenches for protection of cables including punning down complete all as specified. Note :- Thickness of sand cushioning shall be the thickness after punning down.

Taking out old rusted unserviceable GI tubing of any size and S&F 80 mm dia GI tubing,light grade, with all fiiting for protection of cable passing across the road,under floor etc,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(iii) The Crimping shall be done only by Hard Operated/Hydraulically Operated Crimping Tool after applying conduting jelly and no other method will be allowed. (iv) Extra use of cable shall be measured &Paid sepetrately in case of non availability of EM store.(v) Excavation /Returing & filling ,removing /sand and brick work shall be measured and paid seperately (vi) HDPE Pipe shall be measured and paid seperately (vii) if existing cable is not available, same shall be issued through store as Sch "B".

M&L Earthing complete as per electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part I with galvanised steel plate earth electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm, burried directly vertically in ground in a pit of depth not less than 2.5 metres below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing wire protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 50mm bore medium grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole/ test point. Watering pipe shall be 20mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be inclusive of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel , PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note 1- following items deemed to be included in quoted rate (a) Earth electrode. (b) Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point and further to equipment to be earthed upto 7.5 metre. (c) Material and labour for connecting earth electrode and earthing lead as specified. (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt as per direction. (e) All labour involved including testing of earth net work. (f) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode. (g) P.C.C. pit and C.I. cover. Note :- (a) The using of GI Clamp in the wall/drainage,etc rate are deemed to be included in the quoted rate and nothing shall extra paid to contractor.
