M & L for Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 metre wide and n.exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, laying cables errection of poles / struts/stays etc n.exe 10 Sqm on plan not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying of bricks subclass ‘B’ old size laid flat perpendicular to the direction of cable for protection of cable complete all as specified.

M&L for dry river sand filling in trenches as cushioning to under ground cable provided with a layer of 8 cm deep before laying and 15 cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

M & L for Supplying, laying, connecting and testing in trenches, under floors/ roads or on walls Cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strips or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) ISI marked with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, of size 95 Sq mm, 3.5 Core complete all as specified.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing complete of Manufacturer or OEM (Original Eqpt Manufacturer) manufactured and tested static Diesel Engine driven generating set capable of delivering 58.5 KVA continuous rating, (10% overload for 1 hour in 12 hours of operation), 415 volts (AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply), 50 Hz at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to a matching alternator, and mounted on Dunlop metallastik foundation pads on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB Norms IV approved acoustic enclosure complete with control panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement, flexible exhaust pipe complete all as specified and directed and shall comprise of the following : - (a) Engine (prime mover) : Diesel engine 1500 RPM, of suitable HP as recommended by manufacturer, water cooled, turbocharged, 12 volts electric battery start, complete with fly wheel and torsional vibration damper, radiator and all standard fittings/ fixtures as per standard manufacturing practices and including suitable instrument panel with RPM meter, lub oil temp and pressure gauge, water temp gauge and frequency meter (digital type), battery charging ammeter and fuses, and also including self starter ( 12V), battery charging alternator, fuel tank etc and complete with HWT and LLOP alarm and shut down safeties complete with first fill of Lub oil and Coolent of make GREAVES COTTON LIMITED or equivalent KIRLOSKAR (KOEL) /Cummins.

(b) Alternator : AC alternator, brushless, 415V AC 50 Hz, 3 phase , 4 wire type, rated for continuous output of 58.5 KVA, PF 0.8 (lag), 1500 RPM insulation class ‘H’; enclosure SPDP (IP 22/23), self excited & self regulated with AVR for + 1 % voltage regulation, coupled directly / suitably to and to match the above engine and conforming to BS 5000/IS 4722 .Alternator makes shall be CROMPTON GREAVES /KIRLOSKAR/ STAMFORD/ BHARAT BIZLEE. (c) Dunlop Metallastik anti-vibration pads for mounting engine – alternator assembly on the base frame/ plate. (d) Base plate : Made out of structural steel as per manufacturer’s recommended design/ specifications. e) Enclosure : Provision of an integral type, approved / certified acoustic enclosure as per latest CPCB norms IV, for the DG set to restrict the noise level to 75 DB (A) at one metre and ensure that temperature rise within the canopy shall not exceed 5 – 7 degree celsius. It shall be made of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet with powder-coated finish on outside and high quality noise absorbent and fire retardant grade acuoustic insulation material duly provided with EPDN gasket lining. There shall be four hinged doors out of which one shall be with a glass window. The base frame shall be of ISMC . It shall also include the following: - (i) Silencer: Absorption type, non-resistance, residential. (ii) Internal wiring with PVC copper conductor cables, IS 694 marked, FRLS in conduit and suitable light fittings. (iii) Fuel tank to be provided as per OEM specification. (iv) Safeties for high enslosure temperature and emergency shut-down from outside. (v) 1Nos 12V of suitable AH lead acid batteries and adequate size copper conductor cable leads, housed on & including suitable size MS angle iron frame and necessary clamps, nuts, bolts, washers all as required & as per manufacturer design / specifications.

(f) Control panel : Contro panel made out of 14 gauge CRCA sheet , powder coated and shall consists of the following: - (i) Ps 0500 Controller (ii) Aluminium Bus bars with suitable capacity incoming & outgoing terminals. (iii) Indicating lamps for load on and 'set running' (iv) Instrument fuses duly wired and ferruled. (v) Circuit breaker(MCCB) of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protectons. Note: To be mounted inside enclosure. (g) Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel fabricated from CRCA sheet steel suitble for outdoor installation (Including CPRI type test certified), dust & vermin proof, protection class I P-54 suitable for 415 volts , 3 phase , 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system with adequate layers of power coating floor mounting type with front opening, the AMF panel shall comprise the following indicating instruments & switches:- One - AC voltmeter, One -Voltmeter selector switch OFF/RY/YB/BR, One -Frequency meter, One -AC voltmeter of suitable scale, One -Ammeter selector switch OFF/R/Y/B, One -Current transformers of suitable ratio, One -Battery charger consisting of, (aa) Transformer / Rectifier unit, (bb) DC ammeter /DC voltmeter, (cc) Charging rate selector switch OFF / Trickle/Boost One - Mains supply air break contactor, 3 pole of suitable rating. One - Alternator air break contactor, 3 pole of suitable rating and provided with a separate overload relay for overload protection, One - Mains supply voltage monitor, One - Set of DC control relays and timers, One - Mode selector switch OFF / Auto / Main /Test, One - Set of push buttons, START , STOP, ACKNOWLEDGE, RESET, MAINS BREAKER, CLOSE/TRIP, ALTERNATOR BREAKER CLOSE / TRIP, One - Set of indicating lamps for the following :- LOAD ON MAINS, LOAD ON SET, SET FAILS TO START, LOW OIL PRESSURE, HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM, HIGH TEMPERATURE TRIP, ALTERNATOR OVERLOAD, One - Audio - alarm hooter, One - KWH meter & One - Set of Bus bars.

(h) Suitable size cement concrete foundation platform of canopy base with height as required at site to mount the generator as per manufacturer's instructions/ recommendations. The cost of foundation bed incl earth work and dismantling existing CC and foundation etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. The control cubicle will be furnished complete with the necessary control circuit fuses, etc. and will have provisions for making incoming and outgoing connections. One - KW meter, One- set of bus bar Note- Factory Inspection of DG set Shall be carried out by Rep of Accepting Officer.
