Earthmat construction at Neradeul 33/11 kv Sub-Station under Ghatal Division under Paschim Medinipur Region

Erection of Earthing complete as per TS (All materials excluding MS Flat for Earth Mat will be supplied by the contractor) :Laying of GI flat ( 65 x 6 mm) on insulated support inside the cable trenches followed by lap jointing (125 mm lapping of each piece with other) by electric welding. Tag welding shall be done by continous process. Application of zinc chromate paint shall be done on welded portion immediately after jointing.

Drawal of earth riser alongwith connection by 50 x 6 mm G.I. flat from the earth mat to each of the yard structures and power equipments like power transformer,VCB,CT etc by electric welding. Tag welding shall be done by continous process. Application of zinc chromate paint shall be done on welded portion immediately after jointing.(all materials will be supplied by the contractor)

Construction of inspection pit of 400 x 400 x 400 mm size (inside measurement )with 250 mm thick brick work in cement mortar(1:4),12 mm thick cement plaster (4:1) in the inter wall surface and upto 150 mm below the ground level of the outer surface .The pit shall be covered with precast RCC slab 50 mm thick (4:2:1) reinforced with 10 mm dia G.I rod @ 100 mm centre -to- centre both ways including lifting lugs of 10 mm dia G.I rod at the middle of the slab with the proper finish of all slab on all sides.(cement , brick, slab etc Civil items will be supplied by the contractor)

Neutral point earthing arrangement of PTRs/Station Service by 3mtr long 50mm dia having conical shape at the bottom with 12mm perforation on the body of the pipe applying salt and charcoal at the alternate layer along the GI pipe and connection with existing earth mat (Charcoal, salt and GI pipe will be supplied by agency)

Formation of earth mat as per approved design with supply & erection of 65x8 M.S. Flat(MS Flat will be supplied by WBSEDCL) (excavation of soil included)

Drawing of earth lead with 50 x 6 mm G.I flat (Supplied by Agency) for earthing of equipment installed inside control room building and connection arrangement from earth bus to equipment by tag welding with necessary painting of earthing bus joints.
