Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs. xxxxxxx (80% of estimated cost of tender)

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

List of existing commitments and ongoing works

List of works for which tenders already submitted

Construction equipment owned by the tenderer and equipment proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the last five years

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Proposals for subcontracting components of works amounting to more than 20% of the contract price (for each, the qualifications and experience of the identified sub-contractor in the relevant fields should be attached)

The tenderer should be a PRED/PWD registered Contractor

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last five years Achieved in at least two financial years an average financial turnover. (in all classes of Civil Engineering Construction works only.) (Usually equal to the Estimated annual payments under this contract.)

Tenderer belonging to Scheduled Castes Category and Scheduled Tribe Category (For SC/ST Category Works only) achieved in at least One financial year a minimum financial turnover. (in all classes of Civil Engineering Construction works only.) (Usually not less than the Estimated annual payments under this contract.) (Submit the scanned copy of the balance sheet indicating the contract receipts certified by the chartered accountant)

Mandating satisfactory completion as a prime contractor for at least one similar work to an extent of 50 percentage of the cost of work.Tenderer belonging to Scheduled Castes Category and Scheduled Tribe Category (For SC/ST Category Works onlysatisfactory completion as a prime contractor), for at least any Construction work Usually not less than 25 percentage of the cost of the work.

The Contractor belonging to SC/ST Category has to upload the Caste Certificate & Residencial Certificate during submission of Tender Only.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Government orders

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should furnish qualification information as per section 3 of Standard Tender Document attached to this tender

All Scanned Documents of the Original should be up-loaded, Executive Engineer/ Superintending Engineer/ Chief Engineer reserves the right verify the Original Documents before approval, 0riginal documents / Certificates for qualification shall be produced when called for during evaluation of tender.

All the Formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner.

The Tenderer should maintain the work during defective liability period of 1 year.

The materials like bitumen, Steel, Cement etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should be got attested by the Quality Control Authority before use on the work.

Work done certificate should be issued by competent authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

The item rates quoted shall include cost of royalty charges on construction materials & other taxes as per the rates provided in prevailing cost & conveyance of all materials, Curing, Watering, unloading with all leads & lifts labour, hire charges of machinery equipments etc., complete including all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work.

If the tender of the successful tenderer is seriously unbalanced in relation to the Employers estimate of the cost of the work to be performed under the contract, the Employer may require the Tenderer to produce detailed price analysis for any or all items of the Bill of Quantities, to demonstrate the internal consistency of those prices with the construction methods and schedule proposed. After evaluation of the price analyses, the Employer may require that the amount of the performance security set forth in Clause 25.1 be increased at the expense of the successful Tenderer to a level sufficient to protect the Employer against financial loss in the event of default of the successful under the contract.
