5	Hiring charges for JCB to carryout earthwork in river bed or as required at site to divert the water by removing of soil, stone boulders and creating channel in river. The rate quoted deemed to include for moving of JCB in the river bed, carrying out work. the time of work shall start when the JCB will commence work in the river bed, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Cost of transportation of the JCB to & fro from the breakdown site is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate. (ii) JCB for attending emergency breakdown to be provided within 1 to 6 Hrs of verbal/telephonic intimation etc to the contractor without fail. (iii) Incorporation/use of JCB in any work services shall be decided by the Engr-in-Charge and GE depending upon the graveness/nature of breakdown/urgent repairs required at site. (iv) A register has to be maintained by the Contractor wherein entries w.r.t Date & Time of Start of Use & Stop shall be entered & duly signed by both the Contractor/ Rep & Dept Rep for payment purpose.	20	Per Hour	-	-
