SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AT CERTAIN LOCATION IN LEBONG UNDER AGE (I) DARJEELING (2ND CALL)

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm and segregation materials stacking for reuse and remove from the site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam(WBM), with coarse aggregates (Kankar or Laterite) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced / new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 10kg per 10 sqm over WBM surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen grade 10 Pack (VG-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 30 mm thick consolidated thickness bituminous premixed carpet with 0.405 Cu.m per 10 sqm of stone chipping and mixed with 21.90 kg per 10 sqm of binder using paving bitumen grade 30 Pack (VG-30) laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for liquid seal coat by applying paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 6.3 mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 Sqm and rolled to a uniformed smooth surface by 8 to 12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes of depth exceeding 30 mm thick, area not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen grade 10 pack primer (VG-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder with paving bitumen grade 30 pack (VG-30) @9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided (unreinforced cement concrete) in ground floor and pavings not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete(1:3:6), type C-2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, road side pavings, path/steps, hardstanding finished the concrete surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying retroreflected thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 upto 10cm wide in road edges, centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. with 2.50 mm or more thickness, applied using special applicator machine as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note 2:-The contract sum shall be arrived at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quoted amount.
