Excavation in Ordinary Soil : (i) Excavation in Cutting in Soil by manual means with lead upto 50m : Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.50m and lead upto 50m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 (Manual method should be adopted where machines can not be deployed due to side condition.)

Supply of Serviceable empty cement bags

Labour charge for laying and pitching earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost). For borrowing earth from a distance beyond 30m. & up to 60m.

Collection and suppy of broken stone metal of size 13 mm. to 38 mm in average from river boulder free from dust, dirt and other foreign materials from approved quarry ( Bihubor) including necessary carriage loading , unloading including local carriage and stacking in regular measurable stacks of approximate 1(one) m. height at work site, payment of forest royalty, etc. complete as directed

Labour charge for making filter bed of required thickness with stone metal of size 13mm to 38mm over the trimmed surface of river bank/embankment, slope, including site carriage of metal within a distance of 150m etc. complete as directed.

Earth work in filling by mechanical means including ramming means by deploying hydraulic excavator and trippers etc. with locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil with all lead and lift, transporting to site, spreading, dressing as per design section including ploughing or roughening or benching benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage).

Miscelleneous Road Appurtenances RCC Guard post : Supplying, fitting and fixing RCC guard post 150cm long erected 75cm above the ground and 75cm below the ground with M15 grade (normal mix 1:2:4 with broken stone aggregate up to 20mm size) of cement concrete and required reinforcement tied in position with annealed black wire including centering, moulding the top, curing including painting concrete surfaces in 23cm strips up to 0.75m from the top alternately in black and white and having 2nos reflective band of desired shade etc. complete as per design and as directed. b)15cm dia.
